Surprise and shock flashed across his eyes for a brief second, but Luther regained his composure quickly. He lifted the locket a bit up and looked at it carefully.

Carla, who was unconscious all these days, stirred her eyes and moved her fingers lightly. 

Luther's gaze turned complicated, and he kept on looking at the pendant that belonged to his wife. The butterfly wing red pendant is a treasure for the Douglas family, and they inherited it from their ancestral.

Easton asked, "Is this the same red pendant that sister-in-law used to have brother..?"

Luther sat there unmoving looking at the pendant. past memories flashed across his mind looking at this ancestral ornament again. Only Luther knew, how much he loved to see his dear wife wearing this pendant.

'Does it mean, my wife, is safe and sound somewhere in heaven, or is this the sign that she will never come back to me' Luther thought to himself.
