"What if it's Dharvey who likes you… what would you do?"

When Arlo heard what his girlfriend had said, he couldn't help but look straight into Angeal's eyes, not saying a word. With Arlo showing hesitation in answering Angeal's question, she couldn't help but feel nervous, wondering what he might be thinking of.

"Arlo," Angeal said, calling his attention. "What are you thinking?"

Arlo blinked his eyes a few times. Shaking himself from his thoughts, he took a sip of his iced tea, then turned his body to look at Angeal to give her his answer.

"I would still do the same. If Dharvey does nothing, then the friendship continues. If she would tell me her feelings, but won't do anything, then nothing will happen. But if she would like something to happen between us, then I would decline."

Even though his answer was more direct this time, Angeal couldn't help but crease her brows together in doubt.
