Capítulo 4: HIDDEN ACES
After every student of YLTI picked up a contract they started moving out of the facility. The students of Sun academy were also coming out of their facility and they were happy. Suddenly the principal of Sun academy came and greeted the principal of YLTI. Although he was smiling every student of YLTI could feel the glee in his eyes.
Sun academy principal declared proudly that his school's students had been able to make contract with 2 excellent level monsters. The principal of YLTI said that although only 1 student of their academy was able to make a contract with an excellent grade monster but the monster was very strong and also every other student of YLTI was able to make a contract with very good monsters. The principal of sun academy was mocking the YLTI's principal inwardly. While leaving he reminded the YLTI's principal that the annual "Ultimate Yodha" tournament was coming, and they would be meeting each other at regional level of the tournament. The YLTI's principal wasn't disheartened by this but he surely was tensed.
The students of YLTI also got nervous when they heard that the "Sun academy" had two excellent contracts. Except Rudra everybody was completely devastated by this. A gloomy and despairing atmosphere prevailed amongst them. Their head were down as if they had swallowed rotten eggs.
In the Ultimate YODHA tournament every year. Their school and Sun academy had been rivals since years. This tournament was held region wise. It then furthers acted as a qualifying round to the zonal Yodha Championship tournament, which then further acted as a qualifying round to the "federation of Asia's Ultimate Yodha Championship". Winning this championship was a great dream for many and the established govts. took every step to promote it and produce huge number of good Yodhas. The Sun academy and the YLTI have been at tie before this but this year's tournament was tilted towards the side of Sun academy with two excellent grade monsters.
Smitha and Vivek were determined to grow strong no matters what. Every student was expectant towards them. But all of them forgot Rudra who by now had taken his seat in the bus. After that, every student went back to their seats in the bus and began thinking of training their contract. The principal declared then and there that they would be having a special training session for them from the next day forward and they were granted rest of 3 days as holidays to train their contract for the upcoming tournament, which was to be held after 2 months. The principal also declared that they will be picking up a team of 6 for the upcoming tournament. This would be done by conducting a school wide selection tournament. The student getting the top 6 position will be selected for the "regional level Ultimate Yodha tournament". Everybody was excited for this. The bus started and everybody was quite excited by this. The previous gloomy and environment was replaced by a competitive and excited one.
In Rudra's mansion he was seating very comfortably in his bed meditating while his Tattoo on the back was constantly glowing. Suddenly his phone rang. Rudra picked it up and said, "hello". The voice on the other side was harsh and old but at the same time it had a tender and loving tone to it. It was Rudra's grandfather. In his line of business, he was known as a ruthless, hardcore, badass person who would do anything to get what he wanted. Being one of the top 3 richest person in the world and among the 5 power houses that ruled the world now along with the govt. he needed to be dangerous but when it came to his one and only grandson, he was a completely different person.
He asked Rudra about his wellbeing and asked him to participate in the upcoming Ultimate Yodha tournament and he also told him that he was sending him a supreme level Demon to make contract with. But Rudra refuse to his offer and said that he can do it on his own and that he had already made a contract. Rudra's grandfather was taken aback by this as he didn't know that Rudra had made a contract already. He was happy for his grandson and that he was trying to do thing on his own, but he was also worried for him. What he didn't knew was that none of Rudra's Contracts were weak by any mean and he had more than one trump card in his hand. Rudra was not a person who would simply refuse his rich grandfather's offer on the whim that he wanted to do things on his own. He was rather even more cunning and ruthless than his grandfather. The only reason he refused was because a supreme level monster was just unnecessary for him. He suddenly got up from the bed and went towards the huge window which overlooked the entire city of Mumbai and there was fire in his eyes. He closed his eyes, became calm and a devilish smile appeared on his face which would give even the angels a run for their life. He said, "I am coming for you."
Rudra's grandfather although happy for him was also very worried for him. So, he dialled his phone and ordered someone to come to his office. There was a young lady of around the age of 18 who came in. Rudra's grandfather asked her if she would like to do a job for him. The young lady was surprised and was rather happy at this offer. Rudra's grandfather name was Mr. Rakesh and he took care of this young lady since she was little. She was about to die when this man came as an angel and saved her and her little brother. Gave them both a new life and everything they needed. She was ready to give her life for Mr. Rakesh. She considered him as her father. Mr. RAKESH then said that he wanted her to protect his grandson who was currently in Mumbai. This young lady name was Maya and she was an extremely Powerful Yodha Who had 1general level monster & 1 supreme level monster and a Lord tier demon in her soul space.
She didn't know that Mr. Rakesh had a grandson but regardless she was happy to be of use to Mr. Rakesh. Mr. Rakesh was the chairman and owner of "The Asura Inc.". Everybody knew that his son and daughter in law were dead, but nobody knew about his grandson. So Maya was really excited to visit this young man who would inherit the throne of "The Asura Inc." one day. It was arranged that she would join Rudra's school as a new candidate and Rudra was informed of her arrival so that she could stay with Rudra in the mansion. Rudra didn't mind this as he could understand his grandfather's concern. Beside he did know the value of a trusted aide and how much of danger he was always in.
