I woke up, grabbed my small bag of clothes I had for the four day trip and checked on Namjoon who seemed to be in a more peaceful sleep than usual.
After I made sure everything was set I went down to meet with the other men that were going. We all grabbed our weapons, putting the guns and knives in their rightful places, hidden away in our suits.
When we were all ready we piled into cars, I would be in the one with Jeon and one other guard.
We had a long car ride ahead of us and I had no plans to speak but Jeon was concerned about Namjoon and asked, "How's Namjoon been doing?"
"Better, I think." I simply answered.
He left it at that and the rest of the ride I was silent.

When we finally got to where Jeon was meeting we all got out of the cars. All we were informed was that four guards would be going into the warehouse with Jeon, I was one of those men. Everyone else would be waiting outside for a signal if anything were to go wrong.
Something told me that it would go wrong as soon as we walked in.
I, along with the other men shielding Jeon, looked around, noticing that there were two men with the what seemed to be the boss of the organization in the middle if the room. There were other men around the abandoned building, hiding, or trying to.
I glanced over to see the leader of the four of us that came in here with Jeon whisper something into his ear piece, I instantly heard it along with every other guard.
"This doesn't look so good. Back up, be ready."
Once we were in front of the other men the main one smiled at Jeon, "It's an honor to be a part of your last official business transaction."
I didn't like his tone or the look in his eyes.
I listened closely and looked around watching the other men. My eyes darted back to the men in front of me when I heard the click of a gun, "Sorry, this will be the last of you." One of the guards was in front of Jeon and the rest of us were shielding him as we lead him out of the building before the words left his mouth.
Shots were fired, the rest of our men came in and just as we were almost out one of the men hiding in the warehouse came out of the shadows and ran at us. I left my position beside Jeon as the other two got him out safely. I instantly got into hand to hand with the man that came to attack Jeon and I was starting to get the upper hand until he pulled out a knife. I reached for my gun and shot the guy just as someone came behind me stabbing me in the shoulder.
I groaned but quickly turned and shot him too. I shot a few more before I got out of the building.
I got back to the car I came in and one of the men that came with me thankfully helped. He made me get in the back of the car as he distracted me and ripped out the knife. I held in my screams of pain and settled for strained groans and pants.
He quickly and sloppily stitched me up as well as covered it, saying it would hold until we got back and a doctor could look at it.
"Thank you." I groaned out as the car we were in sped up to get away.

I was laying on the couch, just having finished dinner Jhope had left for me when he walked in, arm in a sling and face bruised.
I suddenly sat up at the sight of him. I immediately knew that something had gone wrong.
One of the nurses from the clinic that helped wounded guards walked in with Jhope , "Are you Jhope's roommate?"
I nodded, looking at Jhope who was looking at me.
"Jhope has an injury on his shoulder that needs to be cleaned and redressed regularly. Do you think you could do that for him or does he need to come to to clinic?" She asked kindly. I found myself nodding though I had no idea how to clean and dress and wound.
"And please make sure he doesn't do anything strenuous with his right arm and that it stays in the sling until doctors say it's okay."
I nodded and with that she left.
"What happened?" I asked.
"We walked into an ambush." He said simply.
"Are you okay?"
He nodded sitting down beside me, "Did you eat?"
It was my turn to nod, "Would you mind heating me up something?"
I got up and heated him up some of the food he left for me. I gave it to him and sat with him as he ate.
"Tomorrow we are going to start training again." He informed me.
"But your shoulder..." I trailed off.
"We just can't practice hand to hand combat but I have someone that is willing to help. I trust him."
With that Jhope finished his dinner in silence and we went to bed.

We were at the gym, Jhope telling me what to do, praising me when I did something well and correcting me when I didn't.
"Ten more minutes and you practice with mark." He informed me and I glanced over at the man I would be practicing with. He was about the size of Jhope but more intimidating.
I finished and we walked over, we introduced ourselves and Jhope told us when to start.
Mark was strong but he wasn't that fast. He got a few hits in but I managed to dodge more and get a few hits in myself.
Everything was going well, I was controlling my anger and focusing on the fight and not memories like it.
But suddenly his fist flew out and I wasn't fast enough to block it or dodge it and it connected with my nose.
I felt and heard the crack as I fell back, Jhope was in the pit that we were fighting in and hovering over me in seconds.
Mark walked over too and helped me sit up. I felt hot, thick liquid come out of my nose. I reached up and felt it and it came back red.
"I'm sorry."Mark apologized, pulling a rag out of his pocket and putting it to my nose.
I struggled to push back bad memories and just focused on the pain.
"Is it broken?" Jhope asked.
I pulled the rag away and Jhope looked at it, feeling it making me wince.
"I don't think it's broken." He concluded and I put the rag back.
I suddenly felt really tired and drained. All the adrenaline from training with mark had warn off and my nose was throbbing and I was just tired from all the work from before.
"We'll call it a day, thank you mark, can you do this again?" Jhope asked.
He nodded and looked down at me, helping me up before apologizing again and walking off.
Jhope and I went back to our room and I washed my face and nose because it stopped bleeding and saw how it was bruising.
I walked into the small living room and Jhope was cooking, well trying his best with one arm.
I offered to help so lunch would be served faster and he agreed.
It wasn't until later in the day, after I had gotten back from talking with my therapist that I had to change Jhope's bandage.
"I don't really know how to do this." I admitted.
"That's okay, it's not difficult." He reassured and walked me through the steps.
I took off the gauze and looked at his wound it was red and swollen, the stitches holding it closed. I carefully cleaned it as he instructed then covered it up with fresh gauze.
"Thank you." He said as he carefully put his shirt back on.
After that we both went our separate ways to sleep.
