Capítulo 51: Chapter 50 War
After 3 days, the military manned up the wall to be ready to defend Orario. As you can see that Orario isn't a good place to defend, even if Orario is surrounded by mountains but there are many chokepoints. If I stretch the military to guard each chokepoint, then I'm afraid that the enemy would greatly outnumber them and I don't want anyone to die as I really valued each one of them greatly, so I stationed the military personnel on the wall. I used Shadow Clones and spawned 100 of me, I made them to recon the front line because I don't want to be surrounded in Orario because 30,000 man surrounded by 500,000 troops is a one-sided battle, what I wanted is my troops go against the 500,000 troops in head to head battle, not in siege battle and surrounded also.
Then one of the Shadow Clone dismissed himself and I got his vision of Ares with his troops marching to Orario from the east side. I moved the military to the east side to stop their march and make the battle head-on, I left the Orario with 20,000 men including all privates and officers, and put 10,000 in Orario because I don't want different troops to suddenly siege Orario and left unguardedly. I don't think they going to do that since Ares is the God of War meaning he loves war not some wussy plans but if it does happen then we'll be ready. We arrived in a grassy plane outside of Seolo Forest, east of Orario, we waited there because I don't think the guerilla war tactic is efficient since I have magic teams that could blast the enemy troops. Me and the girls were at the most front to lead the charge, I was brimming with excitement and I turned to my troops.
"MY PEOPLE, WE WILL BE FIGHTING AGAINST ARES AND HIS 500,000 TROOPS. WE SHALL NOT COWER, WE SHALL NOT FEAR, WE SHALL NOT REGRET. THOSE FUCKERS ARE KILLERS, THEY MADE WAR WITH A LOT OF CITIES AND A LOT OF PEOPLE GOT KILLED BECAUSE OF THOSE FUCKERS. DO NOT HESITATE KILLING THEM, DO NOT GIVE MERCY TO THOSE FUCKERS AS THEY DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT TO THE ONES THEY KILLED. WE WILL MAKE THE SKY RED, WE SHALL MAKE ENEMIES BLOODS FLOWS IN THIS LAND, WE SHALL MAKE THE GODS TO WITNESS THIS BATTLE AND COWER IN THE SKY FEARING OUR STRENGTH." I shouted, the troops were brimming with excitement and bloodlust as I made a speech. The earth started to shake as we waited, everyone was nervous yet excited. Loud footsteps vibrated through the grass plain, horns blew from afar. Then black dots could be seen as time passes, the dots started to become bigger and more dots appeared. I raised my arm, the range division started to ready their bows and spells. The footsteps became louder as well the sound of metals hitting each other, my left palm which holding the sheath of my Katana became sweaty.
I clutched my sheath tighter as the black dots became vivids of men wearing black heavy armors. I dropped my arm and pointed at them, I shouted.
"RANGE DIVISION, LET LOOSE HELL UPON THEM!" The range division started to shoot the enemy troops with arrows and magic, the magic that is being taught in the 'Soul World' was like mine, no chanting words needed. The girls who can use long-range attacks started to use them, all elements of magic were being unleashed by me, the girls, and my troops.
I see explosions, ice spikes flying through the wind, deafening sound of wind blades that were sent to the enemies, men got penetrated by magic spears and arrows, I hear screams of pain, screams of the officers trying to organize the formation, screams of panic. My troops' morale became so high that they practically taunting the enemies by cheering and shouting. The enemy's frontline became a mess and the soldiers didn't know what to do, the supposed line that was supposed to meet the enemy attacks first and became the momentum for the rest of the army to win or lose the battle became chaotic.

A man clad in a more extravagant black heavy armor looked at the frontline from the back of the formation and frowned, he looked at a man wearing red heavy armor.
"Ares-sama, the frontline has been broken by the enemy range attacks. We need to retreat and reform the frontline, and we need to reassess the enemy prowess." He said.
"What do you mean by retreating?! WE NEED TO CHARGE AT THEM! I AM GOD OF WAR, NO ONE IS BETTER THAN ME IN WAR! GENERALS, COME WITH ME TO LEAD THE CHARGE!" Ares said. The man who advised Ares to make the army to retreat shook his head as he knew that his God, Ares, is a muscle brain and stubborn as well. Ares mounted his horse and the generals with the same armor as the man who advised Ares also mounted their horse, Ares and his generals rode off to the frontline.

I looked at the battlefield and felt that the range attacks needed to stop because they are only killing small amounts of enemies and wasting their arrows or mana as well.
"HOLD YOUR FIRE!" I shouted. the range attacks stopped and the battlefield became silent, there were only screams from the enemy side and horns blowing. I wanted to kill as much as I can by using the range attacks because 20,000 troops against 500,000 troops going to exhaust my troops first rather than getting Ares's head. After 3 minutes, there was a group of men riding horses coming from behind the formation. They kept riding to us and Ares who is leading the group shouted.
"CHARGE!!!"
"RANGE DIVISION, START FIRING AGAIN! FOCUS FIRE AT THE ARMY, NOT THE ONES LEADING THEM." I shouted. I reckoned that the one who is leading the charge is Ares, so I don't want him to be killed by anyone but me because I want to kill him and make him die like a mortal. I estimated that about only 20,000 of them got killed by arrows and magic but that was only 20,000 from 500,000. Arrows, magic, and ranged attacks started to rain upon the enemies, these attacks made Ares troops' momentum to slow down but Ares shouted.
"MEN OF RAKIA, CHARGE WITH ME, THE GOD OF WAR. LET US FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR GLORY AND HONOR OF A WARRIOR." This speech made his troops have more morale and became more fanatic as well. As the enemy got closer, I drew my katana and the girls also drew their weapon and cast magic, I pointed my katana to the enemy and shouted.
"CHARGE!!!"
All of us charged to the charging enemy, I conjured water wings and magic spears around me. I got 7 thoughts so I used all of them to conjure spells that are AoE attacks (Area of Effect) and sent them to the frontline to disturb the momentum so my troops would get more momentum. The enemy got dumbfounded as I flew to the middle of the formation, I landed in the middle of the enemy formation and muttered
"Sixth Form: Rumble and Flash"
Since I was much stronger than the original demon slayers, I could swing my Katana much faster and stronger. The enemy in the range of 20 meters around me cut to pieces with their armors and weapons, the ones who saw me killing them instantly panicked and shouted
"Demon... YOU'RE A DEMON!!! HEEEE~!"
I dashed at them and slashed them, every slash 10 men died. The enemy troops knew they can't retreat since they are in the most middle of the formation and so they ran to me and tried to kill me because they will be dead anyway. I smiled and shouted.
"COME, YOU FUCKERS!!!"
"KILL HIM!!!" A man clad with more superior looking than the others but not as the same with the ones with Ares leading the charge shouted. He retreated and the enemies attacked me, the moment their blades made a contact with my skin, they instantly broke. The enemies were scared shitless and I smiled maniacally at their reaction, I slashed my Katana towards them and just slaughtered them. The enemies who saw me dropped their weapons and retreated while shouting.
"RUN!!! A DEMON HAS APPEARED!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!" Of course, I didn't give any mercy to any of them since they have killed and slaughtered others. I killed them with my Katana and sent my spears towards them, I stopped conjuring AoE spells since it will take too many of my mana. I dashed and slashed the enemies, the middle of the formation became my slaughterhouse, then there were groups of men who surrounded me and attacked me. I killed them and realize they distracted me and the enemies made 100 meters distance around me.
"YOU'RE DEAD NOW, DEMON!!!" Shouted the man who retreated.
"SHOOT HIM!!!" He shouted.
The arrows were sent towards me, and a mage started to chant a spell. I conjured water barrier to block the arrows, then hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands arrows were released by the enemies to kill me. Then mage, who was chanting a spell, targeted the spell towards me but I hurriedly made earth barrier on top of the water barrier. Then a huge explosion could be heard around the battlefield, everyone was surprised by the explosion. The girls and my troops knew that I was in the middle of the formation and panicked that I got injured, they slaughtered through the enemy formation wishing to get to me.
"HOLD YOUR FIRE!!!" An officer commanded, then they waited for the dust to disappear. Then what they saw wasn't a corpse but a man standing with ease and arrows that they just shot hovering on the air, I used water barrier to catch the arrows and control it by placing waters on the stick of the arrow, meanwhile, earth barrier for making dust smokes so they stop shooting at me. I raised my arm and the arrows raised to the air then each arrow pointed to an enemy, this method used less mana than making AoE spells since I only need to control the water at the stick of the arrow. I dropped my hand and each arrow killed a man, it was devastating, meanwhile, the girls and my troops looked at the arrows flying in the air and knew that I was still kicking so they continued to slaughter the enemies.
I looked around me and only see corpses with arrows stuck to their heads and I don't even know how many I killed, Ares noticed that I was the leader because I was commanding the troops and he saw that his troops in the middle of the formation were decimated by me. Ares used his arcanum and everyone became pressured by his arcanum, the war was stopped at that moment. I looked at him and smiled, I decided that I won't be using Enkidu since I really want to kill this God fair and square. He walked towards me and I walked towards him, we stood 20 meters apart and I stopped my troops to stop fighting and he did the same also. The troops surrounded us with a distance of 100 meters, I looked at Ares and said
"So, I assume you are Ares, the God of fucking warmonger that kills the innocents, you want to fight me?" Ares was offended and he retorted with
"You, who are you to mock me?! I am the GOD OF WAR."
"Me? I'm just a mere mortal with the title of God slayer in Orario. I've killed those who are like you, doing the fuck they wanted but they died at my hand." I said. Ares is a muscle brain so he scoffed at my title and my doings.
"Hmph, they are just weak to die in your hand, not like me, the God of War itself." He said.
"Show me that you are different then, SHOW ME THAT YOU ARE STRONG," I said. I readied my katana meanwhile he readied his sword. I really don't know how strong he is but he's the ruler of Rikia so he must be the strongest there, and if the situation went out of hand, I'll just use Enkidu. I tightened my legs muscle and muttered.
"First Form: Thunderclap and Flash"
I just appeared behind Ares while my katana was halfway to be fully sheathed, when I fully sheathed my Katana, there was a loud sound of rumble and strong gush winds. Ares looked at my previous spot with a dumbfounded face, the troops who were watching are also dumbfounded by how I just teleport to behind Ares. I looked at Ares and declared
"Looks like you are just like them, weak. You aren't that different compared to them."
"What are you talking about? I'm still al-." His head got separated from his body and he still was thinking about what did just happened. I wrapped him with Enkidu before he died since I don't want him to ascend to heaven, then he died. I looked at his troops, generals, and Familia and said.
"Guess that your God has died and he didn't ascend to heaven also, he went to hell instead hahaha~ what a God he is, going to hell to repent for his killing spree." I laugh loudly and the battlefield was silent so my laugh vibrated through the air. everyone had chills over their spines and shuddered.
"You are all our prisoner of war now. Choose to be loyal to me or suffer an eternity!" I said. my troops cheered loudly as we won and the girls ran to me and hugged me. I tried to free myself from them because I still need to be menacing to the enemy troops first.
