My father approached a servant that was standing at attention in the middle of the hallway. When the two of them stood before each other, my father pulled an envelope out of his suit jacket pocket and handed it to the servant.

"Have this taken to the capital at once. It is imperative that it is brought to the emperor immediately." My father ordered. The servant bowed to him and began to run towards a door down the hall.

"W-What was that?" I asked. My voice is still a bit hoarse from my screaming earlier, not to mention the fact that I almost cried, so it's still wavering a bit when I speak.

"It was the marriage proposal." He didn't even look at me when he answered.
