Capítulo 250: Chapter 250: Parting gift

Zack was taken aback by her accusation. His face dropped immediately, his shoulders stooping in defeat. He looked like a man who was unaware of his actions. It was not a surprise to her. Not many wolves that she had seen were different from him. But today, he reminded her of someone else. A very close relative of his, who lusted after the power that he thought she would bring to him. 

Zack was starting to look like his grandfather, trying to take by force what he couldn't have any other way. It was heartbreaking to see him like that. Had he become this way because of his desire to have her? She wondered sadly. She should have rejected him long back. She should have freed him the day that he had taken him to the hill. She would have done that if not for the old man Lang interrupting them. 

"I-" Zack stuttered. "I had no other choice." He said, his hands clenching into fists.
