Capítulo 179: I Appreciate Your Enthusiasm

Claire got started on the cookie dough as soon as they got home. Because she was sharing her bounty with so many people this year she decided to double the recipe. She pulled out the cookie cutter tub and had to go through and find the Christmas shapes by herself because she didn't think Alex would be able to recognize all of them on sight yet. 

He did help cut them out though because he remembered how that was done. They worked side by side listening to Christmas music and wearing the Santa hats she had brought out a few days ago and she was in an excellent mood. 

This reminded her of the Decembers of her childhood when she had her festive mother around. Holidays truly were not meant to be celebrated alone.
