Capítulo 89: That Strange Conflicting Feeling

Claire ended up turning on Fruits Basket—the anime she had been watching back when Alex was originally stalking her—because she knew he liked it. She started it from the first episode and turned the sound on low, hoping that something he used to like would get through to him while he rested.

She wanted to make him as comfortable as possible but she also had to try to get him to remember their time together properly so he could get his personality back. It was the least she could do for him because he had been so determined to be a better person before this all went down.

She ended up pulling an all-nighter to watch him, afraid to fall asleep for even a second in case he decided she was a target again and tried to kill her. She had to be ready at any time to use the trigger words again.
