Okay...some bad premonitions going around in this chapter. The four girls are all missing, and now we got a monster within the so-called safe zone...moreover, Obsidia and Lan Xiao Su's whereabouts are both still unknown as well. The Midnight Syndicate really played a cunning card this time, using the rain to their advantage...

When writing fights in novels, it's not all about how the protagonist overcomes the villain through outsmarting or something. That's what Xuan Kai usually does, sure, but at the same time, we authors have to come up with how the villain will use some cunning trick to gain the upper hand first. And then, for maximum satisfaction, we'll have the protagonist defeat the villain, even at a disadvantage.

Now then, how will things turn out from here in the climax of Volume 5?
