"Congrats, man, way to go," I congratulated Rion, as I handed him his cash prize. 

"Thanks a bunch, boss dude!" He grinned in response, as he accepted the prize. 

Shortly after the end of the final, the awards ceremony began, with cash prizes for all those that finished in the top eight and above. 

With my congratulating of Rion, that wrapped up the awards ceremony for the main tournament, but this isn't over yet...now it's time for the exhibition matches between those with power levels of above 100,000.

That is, after a short break to rebuild the arena, anyway. Rion completely obliterated it with his last attack, and the stadium itself had sustained a bit of minor structural damage too, so yeah. 

As I concluded the awards ceremony, I headed back up to the VIP area, where lunch was about to be served. After watching all that action, it feels like I've worked up an appetite, despite having not participated myself.
