After her conversation with her manager, Xiao Rufeng tried to focus on memorizing her script, as the filming of the series she was starring in would resume in three days. This only meant that she would see Yan Xiuchen less, and she wasn't looking forward to it.

Seeing that she was making no progress, she dropped her script on her bed and decided to see if Yan Xiuchen was done with his work. Now that his assistant had returned, there was no need for her to follow and accompany him throughout the day, and she somewhat missed it.
