Capítulo 2: 2 Ambush
Zypher felt that every time of the day, someone is following him closely. Nevertheless, he will not be scared by this.
Feeling better, he searched for the peculiar book however no matter what he did, he can't seem to find it anywhere on the house.
Zypher felt sad that he did not took notes regarding the details of the potion which could make him use mana.
That's when something unexpected happened. He started writing the ingredients and the process of making the potion as if he studied it all his life.
Zypher didn't know how he did it however since he already got what he needed, there is no time but to create the potion. He started to gather the ingredients in bulk and followed every process. There was this voice resonating in his head as if guiding him what to do. It took him five tries until he managed to create it.
He managed to gulp it all at once and he felt a tingling sensation all over his body. He was sure by now that he could wield mana however he decided to wait for his parent's return to surprise them. But that dream never came through.

Zypher made one last look towards his house before he set out. His destination would be to go to the city of Editha, the nearest place he can attain a catalyst armor and a low level artifact weapon.
To get there he would have to take a carriage or a horse and since he doesn't have both, Zypher had to pay a local merchant to let him join in on their travels. Luckily for him, the merchant he found knows a little bit about his father from way back and just ask for five gold coins.
Zypher did not know if it was a reasonable price however seeing that the merchant also hired multiple low level mercenaries, he didn't mind it anymore.
There he met the Black Jaguars led by their captain Brye. Zypher had to gather all of his strength just to start a conversation.
"So, how long have you been together?" Zypher asked.
"About five years now kid." the one with shield replied. Maybe he assumes that I am one the merchant's children that's why he replied.
Zypher promised to himself to improve his social skills since everything became awkward after that since he had no ideas left to question.
The group suggested to set up camp before the sun is completely down. Zypher was lonely eating his food near the edge of the camp and no one seems bother.
<Danger on your right. Prepare for battle.>
Zypher quickly stood up and turned his attention to his right where the entrance of the forest were visible. He knows better than to trust the voice.
"Enemy attack." he shouted at the top of his lungs while trying to run towards the mercenaries.
The mercenaries quickly made their way out of their tents and tried to check where the enemies are. Seeing no one, Brye the leader held up Zypher angrily.
"Shut your mouth. Do you see any enemies? Don't you dare cause a commotion for nothing."
"Look there. There's your enemy." Zypher quickly pointed out the location. He had no choice but rely on them.
Brye was still angry but looked at the direction nonetheless. She can't see a thing, not with the darkness of the shrouding the forest. However, the rapidly incoming arrow that targeted her head quickly changed her mood. She was stunned but luckily the man with the shield quickly guarded her and blocked the arrow.
"It's a poisoned nocturnal arrow." Brye quickly analyzed the arrow which fell on the ground. "Orcs! Prepare for battle"
One by one, the men activated their catalyst armors and ready their artifact weapons. Brye's sword shined fury red as she unsheathe it.
On the side of the forest, dozens of orcs menacingly made their way out dashing forward to defeat their prey.
It's a gruesome battle and the orcs were clearly biding their time not to kill the mercenaries. They were just making them unconscious and the last ones left are Brye and the one with the shield.
They were trying their best to hold out but finally an orc disarmed Brye and her weapon flew out and dropped in front of Zypher. The man with the shield also took a hit that made him fly too.
Brye didn't want to die but her strength is quickly fading and the orc clearly saw this and gave him her the last blow.
<Grab the sword and fight.>
Zypher who was cowardly watching at the back, heard the voice again. Seeing the orc raise his weapon, he finally grabbed the sword without thinking.
The moment that he grabbed it, something just changed inside him. The sword responded by showing blue flame aura. He blocked the hit with one hand as if it was nothing. The orc took a step back while the other ones were attracted by the light.
Almost all of the orcs' level powers more than eight thousand but not more than ten thousand but with Zypher holding the sword he felt invincible.
He brandished the sword like it's part of his body and dismembered the whole pack of orcs within seconds. The crazy thing was his body never felt fatigue but ecstacy while cleaving the orcs like butter.
The whole battle field was scorched beyond belief and he was standing right in the center. He drove the sword on the ground when he noticed that the battle is over.
The moment he let go of the sword, his hands became numbed by the pain and his strength quickly draining. He struggled to get out of there as soon as possible since there is no way he can explain saving every one when he couldn't even explain to himself.
Luckily, Brye and mercenaries were knocked out although some of them were fatally injured. The merchants were hiding on their tents and carriages too afraid to come out.
Zypher couldn't hold it out anymore and collapsed at the edge of the campsite.
