Capítulo 13: Cap 13 - Mercenary

Spicer was still being assessed by those disgusting eyes, every inch of his body had been scanned for any small defects. This made the young mercenary wonder how many other people went through it, having all his dignity taken away and being treated like a piece of shit. The only woman who was in the room came to him with a seductive look, she had a kind of cigar between her lips that gave off a cloud of smoke that smelled of eucalyptus.

The mysterious woman wore a red dress, which instead of going to the floor was limited to her knees, the cleavage left her breasts slightly startled and fitted perfectly to her body even though her tired eyes showed her age, her skin, and beauty was still youthful and mature. Each walk was graceful and Spicer let his guard down and relaxed his muscles a little which made the woman smile, after all, she was a born hunter of men. If Spicer were asked to define beauty in just one word he would say, "Black-Widow", there was certainly something wrong with that cigar, the smoke made Spicer feel calmer and calmer.

The lady, when she got close enough to the mercenary, changed from looking seductive to confused, in all her life she had never met someone like Spicer. He realized that she was a little scared, but he managed to hide much better than the guards. She took off her gloves and started to run her hands all over Spicer's body, without leaving any long sticks out. His hands drew every scar on the mercenary's body, those marks were the target of the uproar caused in the room, and that imposed fear in the hearts of all who saw it. For Spicer, those were his spoils of war and if you looked carefully, you would see that each scar added a deadly beauty to the young boy. Spicer realized that she seemed to be setting a price for him, which made him feel indignant, he belonged to himself, no one would sell him or put a price on him, it was not as if anyone could pay.

-He is without a doubt, very beautiful and a very rare jewel. -The woman's voice was calm and velvety, now sported a less tense posture for having moved away from Spicer. -But his scars will be difficult to explain ... It seems that he lived through a lunar cycle in the unarmed Black Forest. I wanted to know where this young man came from, he must not be more than fourteen years old. I have never seen in this city, even among the nobles, a hair as black and shiny as his, which makes many young women jealous. -She stopped and looked out of the corner of her eye for Spicer, but soon looked away when she realized the bestial look he cast on her. -He can redeem us a lot if he cooperates. We can create a story behind his scars to make him even more valuable. Luckily his face is intact, the scars are ugly but with my abilities, they will not be more than small pink lines. But it is what he was before that worries me and I don't see how he can be tamed.

Now Spicer could understand why everyone was afraid of him, from the moment he woke up, the reason was his scars. Her body was a collection of them, not that it left you disfigured, but it was a horrible thing to watch until you started to feel mesmerized by them. Which led each person in the room to wonder what kind of situation he had been through that caused those injuries and what kind of creature he was for surviving. In the eyes of his appraisers, Spicer was a rare jewel, not only because of the delicate beauty of his face but because of the untamed air he conveyed. But because it was so exotic, the traffic network had all kinds of customers with different tastes and certainly, Spicer was a commodity that would be much appreciated at an auction. However, those scars still needed to be worked, luckily the woman who was among those present was an expert healer. Her skills were so great that she, as she said, he could reduce his scars to almost nothing, something so difficult to see that only by looking very closely could they even be noticed.

The three who had evaluated the goods that were chained in the corner of the room got together and started a silent speech in search of a consensus on what they would do. The truth is that because they are so greedy, they never considered killing the boy at that moment, looking at the logic that was the most certain decision to be made. They spent a long time whispering until their voices rose and broke the deadly silence that hung over the room. The guards were afraid to even breathe. Even helpless Spicer still posed a great threat to everyone.

A spectral chill began to enter the room, and Spicer judged that night was already here. The woman gave an order and one of the guards approached Spicer, he was not what was expected of a man who worked with such people. He had a rather hard face, from many years of work under the sun, which made him older than he looked. He stopped in front of Spicer and looked at him with a friendly look, which left Spicer completely intrigued. As if hoping to obtain his approval from the mercenary, he waited until the captive gave him the signal to move forward. When the prisoner turned his face disdainfully, he approached with a little fear and began to dress him with a cloth. The skill with which he wrapped him in that cloth made Spicer realize that he probably had many children, including women. He was respectful to the boy and even with shaking hands he managed to leave the captive less exposed, which made Spicer improve his mood a little, this simple act was able to lighten the atmosphere. After that, the woman walked towards him and spoke to the guards.

-Take the chains off your feet and then fasten them together, then do the same thing with your hands. -She paused and I continue with a slightly nervous voice, none who was in the room had noticed the difference in the sound waves she emitted, except Spicer. -All stay the swords drawn and with the arrows pointed at him. Then take him to my office. Do not forget to certify the chains, otherwise, you will suffer a fate worse than death.

The time that passed was extremely stressful. Nobody even dared to blink. Then the captive was taken to the healer's room. As far as Spicer can tell, he was in a kind of dungeon, when he was taken to the upper floors he realized that the cells were practically empty. In that dungeon from what Spicer had realized, there were only two more miserable people. Leaving all that pitch behind, he was once again blessed with architectural beauty. The corridors were richly lit by magic lights, the value of which would give a poor person to live without worries for at least three years. Spicer was young, but he knew what was going on in each of those rooms. Probably many people there dreamed of freedom, but they were trapped in the hands of a tyrant who could have his days numbered by just one hand.

When they were passing through the corridor that would give a man in his 40s, who appeared to be one of the employees of the place, he passed holding a girl by the arm who must have been sixteen years old the same he had thought she looked like an angel over the dirt. Looking at the girl's face, I could tell that she had cried so much that no more tears could escape. The fear of the new world that would be forced to live scared the girl, now without any dirt and with a clean face the beauty of the girl illuminated the place. This made Spicer put on a second mission, saving the girl after completing the purpose that had led him there.

{Hi guys, it's me, that one who knows everything! Sometimes, I get scared of Spicer, even though I can handle such terrible people, in case you run into him and suggest you have something sweet in your hands ...}
