"Can I ask you something Guruji?!", Kruthika asked him, Guruji nodded his head.
"You said that I've learnt it faster than my brother Karthik. I think he had very good karma than me, even though why was I asked to learn everything faster than him?", Kruthika asked Guruji.
"Karthik only had the blessings of people who were living whereas you, you are having the blessing of living as well as your demised brother Karthik. The blessing or well wishes of people who are dead have more weightage than the living. This is the one of the reason.
The main reason is your dedication and zeal which brought you here. You served and performed your duty truthfully.
You know that finding the answer will be hard but you still choose it because of your brother Karthik. You know how it might be dangerous and risk, that's why you didn't share it with anyone.
When that little girl was seeking answers for her question and her mother tried to suppress them with her domination. You could have just ignored it, but you choose to answer the doubts of that little girl but only for the question which she asked but also for all her future questions which might arise.
You have given right answer to that girl, which I never expected.
And I never thought that you would solve that puzzle from the clues provided in letters. I thought even though you find the clue, it might take it several months for your presence with me.
But you came just after a month after your brother's demise.
That is the reason why you were able to achieve this in short period of time", Guruji explained her.
"Did you know about that clue in his letters and journal?", Kruthika questioned her teacher.
"Yes I knew it. Karthik came here, to me, to find a way to do inscription which should lead you here.
I just showed him the path, he did it by himself", Guruji answered.
"You could have just approached me right! Why did you waste time in doing all such things?", Kruthika asked him, tears were standing in her and were ready to flow at any moment, but Kruthika held it.
"The information which you are going to know is not a joke. It's very confidential. There might have been ways that someone could know about it and misuse it.
The truth which you don't know if that, you are being observed", Guruji said to her.
Kruthika widened her eyes in disbelief and surprise. She didn't notice it that she was being followed. She tried to say but her words were not able to come out.
"Yes. Yes, you have to belive me. Why did you think Sunil was asking about your absence when you came here to enquire about your brother for first time?", Guruji asked her.
"How is he even related? He was in our project team, the day which I came here was friday and saturday. May be he thought that I might not come on Sunday for our project discussion!! That's why he was asking me", Kruthika answered but her voice was breaking as she couldn't belive that Sunil might have been keeping an eye on her.
"You and he were even partners during your third year project work also right! He didn't care about it then, but did you ever wonder why now at that time?"
"Because third year's project work is not as important as final year's. What made you say so sir?", Kruthika answered.
"Answer me Kruthika, why did he have to throw a party suddenly, that too without informing anyone before. He just informed about it a day venue you go to home and that too when you say about your further plans.
Hopefully he don't know any further information about this", Guruji answered.
"What do you mean by that he stopped?"
"He stopped spying on you in their behalf. I think you should know answers by yourself. Now you can go you'll be late", Guruji said to her.
Kruthika thanked him and left the room. She thought of roaming the campus for one last time, she caressed the cows, the plants which she watered and went to her room.
She packed her bag and went to railway station. She enquired about the trains going to her hometown and booked a reserved a seat for herself, time was around 1 in afternoon.
The train's arrival was at 9:20 at night, she waited there in ladies waiting room at the station.
She called her parents, she wanted to hear to their voice since it was nearly eight months that left home.
K Hello!
M Hello! Kruthika!! How are you dear? It's been eight months since you called us!!
Kruthika found that her mother's voice was so excited and emotional
K I'm fine mom. How are you? How's dad?
M We are fine dear. When will you come to home?
K Tomorrow afternoon I'll be there in railway station, will you come to pick me up?
M Ofcourse we will come to pick you up afterall it's been several months that I've seen you.
K (Just giggled)
M Yeah, what happened to the entrance test that you gave for airforce?
K Yeah I've to wait for the result mom. I just took the coaching to crack the test. Now I'm just waiting for result. (she said recalling the lie).
They spoke for another ten minutes
