Capítulo 3: The Little Kitty...err...Cub

Present time...

"What the...?"

Da Xia couldn't believe her eyes. One moment ago she was still squirming in the arms of the red-robed lunatic to get herself free and the very next moment she found herself standing on a glass-like platform.

She looked around herself to see what actually happened but other than the flying fog that was covering everything, she couldn't see much.

"Good morning, host. Welcome to the mainland of mortals."

A sweet chirpy sound rang around her, making her jump in fright.

"W-who?" Da Xia asked uncertainly as she tried to see the person who had spoken.

"Here!"

She heard the sound coming from down below and as her eyes followed the sound, she found a kitty sitting near her foot.

The weird thing about the kitty was that it had wings and its eyes were too cute to be real, like those round cartoonish eyes.

"You can speak? And you also look a little different. You are a weird kitty." Da Xia said as she eyed the little kitty with suspicion-filled eyes.

"I'm a cub." The kitty replied with a cold tone.

It hated when people mistook it for a cat. The exact mistake its original owner made and kicked it out of the storyline of which it was supposed to be a part.

"Really? But you look like a kitty." Da Xia said with arched eyebrows.

"I'm a cub."

Was it possible for a kitty...err, a cub...to get angry? Da Xia thought as she stared at the little creature. "Yeah, right. I'm just saying that you look like a kitty..."

"I'm a cub!!!!!!"

Da Xia stared at the kitty with her mouth hanging open for a few seconds before she closed it and replied, "Whatever, a cub is still a kitty."

If she wasn't wrong she almost saw the kitty cub rolling its eyes and probably gritting its teeth in anger as well.

"By the way, so this place is the mainland of mortals?" Da Xia asked as she pointed at the foggy area around her.

"Not this place, but the one where you have just transmigrated. The place where your two husbands are trying to take care of you." The kitty.....or the cub, replied with a shake of its head.

On the other hand, Da Xia stared at the kitty with horrified eyes. She shouted at the kitty as she asked, "I did what? What kind of rubbish words are you spouting?"

The kitty covered its ears with its wings to save them from the woman's ear-piercing voice.

"You have transmigrated in the plot that you were writing, but the situation of your transmigration is not clear because it looks like you didn't die." The kitty started explaining in a calm tone.

"Exactly! I never died. Then how can my soul transmigrate? I think there is some kind of misunderstanding here. Wasn't the soul going to transmigrate belonged to Agent X from Planet 121? Then why it's me?" Da Xia looked at the kitty with complaining eyes.

"Hey! Don't look at me like that. I'm not the one who brought you here. My fate isn't much better than yours." This time it was the kitty who looked like a poor tortured soul.

Da Xia looked at the kitty and then settled down on the smooth glass-like platform before asking, "Why? What happened to you?"

"Well, another author on the same writing platform where you were publishing your stories, was writing a new system novel. She created me but then she thought that I'm a kitty and she wanted a cub or a baby spirit fox, therefore she kicked me in the rubbish bin." The kitty explained with a sad tone.

Da Xia made an O shape with her mouth as she heard the sad story of the kitty. She started scratching its soft fluffy ears to soothe it.

In return, she was gifted with a glare from the kitty which stated 'I'm not a kitty', making her immediately pull her hand back.

"Alright, your sad story aside, how we both ended up here?" Da Xia asked as her eyes took in the weird but eye-catching patterns that the fog was forming around them.

"Just like I said, your presence in this world is a pure mystery, and as for me, I got a proposal to help a transmigrated person in a new world and I accepted it since there was no use of mine back in the story." The kitty replied to Da Xia's question.

"So, are those two men....."

"The two male leads of your story, the two Demon Princes." The kitty finished Da Xia's unfinished line.

"Oh, God...!"

Da Xia had no idea what to do at that point. Everything sounded so stupid and unreasonable, and add the impossible word too in the mix. But there was no denying that she had actually transmigrated in her own plot.

Talk about a bad day at work!

The two of them kept sitting there in silence for a few minutes before Da Xia asked, "What now?"

The kitty looked at her for a few seconds before replying, "Well, whoever sent me the proposal to join you here in this world, also sent me something that will answer your question."

The next second a huge screen appeared in front of them. In the very center of the screen was written 'CHOICES'.

"What's this?" Da Xia asked uncertainly as she stared at the screen.

"You have two choices here. The first one..." The kitty stopped whatever it was going to say next and clicked on the 'CHOICES' with its little paw.

A huge box with something written on it appeared on the screen and the kitty continued.

"Your first choice is this one. As you already know that the world where you have transmigrated is a cultivation world, though the Jia Province hasn't a single cultivator living in it. You will need to cultivate and reach immortality. Once you reach that point, you will need to help the souls of the dead princes to reincarnate or transfer into new bodies. Once you finished this job, you will be granted one wish. Even if you want to return to your own world, it will be fulfilled."

Da Xia listened to the kitty with great focus. The plan didn't sound bad, to be honest, but if they were talking about the cultivation levels of her plot, then she was doomed.
