Capítulo 209: EPISODE 99: He, the Strongest!***
I was speechless to see the crimson trainer reappearing in front of me once more. Who could it be but the cherished trainer? The man who calls himself the strongest. Who could it be but the lost champion? The man who made Kanto famous. He is no other than Red accompanied by his winged-beast. I can still feel the fiery passion inside his growling Charizard.
"R-Red." Jenny stutters but in relief after seeing the trainer. He has been lost for many months, nearly a year and finally he has been found.
"... .... ...." Red did not respond back. Throughout his days in this mountain, he has forgotten the manner of speaking. He stares at the three of us with an emotionless look.
"Why have you been hiding all this time? Kanto and Johto, they've dearly missed you." Says Jenny. Once again, the trainer did not respond or reply back to her question. Instead, he moves in the pace of a snail towards us.
"I did not come for a rematch. I came for the Rainbow Wing. I wish to obtain it. I won't fight this time." I tell my purpose.
"... ... ..." He halts his walk, thinking for a moment or two. Meanwhile, his Charizard glares maliciously to the three of us.
He extends his hand to the depths of his pocket, taking out a piece of white paper. He then shows it to us. Drawn on the paper is an illustration of a bell. The first thing that comes up to my mind is the lustrous bell wherein even until this moment I am uncertain of its name.
"Are you looking for the bell?" I query. He responds with a nod. From my pockets, I rummage for the bell and showed its lustrous glow to all of them. They were astounded by the glow and even the winged-beast had to cover its face because of such a blinding light produced by the clear bell. Clear Bell? Now that sounds like a good term for this.
After seeing the bell, Red puts a smirk on his face.
"Excuse me, just a random question. Why can't you talk in the first place?" Virgo queries out of nowhere, disrupting the majestic moment.
"He... he. Words, words are unnecessary." He says softly, shocking me to hell. To be honest, my jaw dropped after he spoke a few words or so. He then rummages his pocket again, revealing something much more lustrous than the clear bell. On his hand is the Rainbow Wing.
Gently, he places it on the palm of my hand. My heart stopped beating after touching its feathery beauty. It is as though as time stood still. A certain attraction pulls me closer to the wing. Its presence is too attention-grabbing that even Jenny and Virgo wanted to hold it.
The wing is also delicate. A single mistake or stumble can cause the feather to shatter apart. Once that happens then impending is doom is to be brought upon Kanto and Johto. There will only be one chance for me to summon the legend.
"Ecruteak," Red says another word, and once again surprised us.
"Ecruteak? Hmm, if I remember correctly there is a tower known as the Bell Tower. Usually, trainers approach the pinnacle to summon Ho-Oh with the use of the Rainbow Wing." Virgo describes, recalling the information he took from the novels she read.
"How in the world can we reach the Bell Tower?! Mount Silver is way far from Ecruteak City and there seems to be no form of transportation nearby." Jenny says sarcastically. Stressed she is as she panics for what is to come in Johto. Chaos awaits, and the longer we take the more chance for the fabric of order to be torn into scraps.
An abrupt noise distracts the four of us. It seems to be coming from the outside so we decided to bid our goodbyes to the champion and left his haven in peace. I know I made a promise to end him for good once I find him but now is not the perfect timing. Johto is falling under chaos.
Outside the cave arrives three majestic Pokemon which I've met recently. I wasn't expecting this moment to take place, the moment where I would see all three legendary Pokemon symbolizing rebirth. The Pokemon that embodies the lightning bolt that struck the tower, the Pokemon that embodies the fire that engulfed, and the Pokemon that embodies that water that stopped the flames. Raikou, Entei, Suicune, all of them were staring at us the moment we reach daylight.
"The beasts that match the power of the mirages! Now I understand what Tres was talking about. Team Rocket is not in the need of the weather mirages since we can use an alternative which is the legendary beasts." Virgo concludes, jumping with ecstasy after meeting all three. She met Entei before, and she was glad to meet it again.
Once more, they allowed us to pet their skins. I pet my favorite amongst the three, Suicune, while Virgo pets her favorite amongst the three, Entei. As for Jenny, she was timid at first but the more she rubbed Raikou's fur the more closer they become.
"Suicune, Entei, Raikou. Will you please send us to Ecruteak city. I must reach the bell tower before Johto is shredded into dust." I plead while showing the Rainbow Wing. All in one they nod their heads at the same time. The wing for them is some sort of passport or bus ticket.
With everything set, the three of us mount the legendary beasts. Jenny goes with Raikou, Virgo goes with Entei, and I, Luna Evergreen, goes with Suicune. How I miss the feeling of riding its back. Its glorious and silky skin makes me refreshed and relaxed.
Upon shrieking, the three emit a loud shriek as they hop the mountain rapidly. The quest to save Johto has only begun and things are starting to intensify.
