"I choose fate...."
Those words unlocked a typhoon of light that swirled from Ellie's abdomen as cascaded around her. It was the key to unlocking her potential. Her choice resonated within her very soul and unlocked a treasure trove of memories that did not belong to her. As each imaged flashed before her eyes and took place within her she felt complete. Asmodious and Remy looked at her in awe. Not only had she transformed in nature but she transformed in appearance too but only for the briefest moments then the whirlpool of light zoomed back inside once more and all was as it had been. Ellie blinked rapidly. She had memerioes that weren't hers but she knew what her fate was now. She knew who and what she was and what she needed to do. Now it was her turn to explain...
"Asmodious...I think I know what's going on now..."
They looked at her in shock. He gestured for her to continue.
"The man who visits me in my sleep is my betrothed since before I was born. My mother promised me to him in exchange for her families safety but when I was born she didn't want to do that so she told everyone she lost the baby. She had me in secret and hid me here. But I think she was found out and was killed...There's more she sealed her memories along with my powers and my true form in order to keep me safe. I am the key to the darklands. I can open the void but I can also close it completely...But you already knew all this didn't you Asmodious because you knew my mother..."
"So you know now. I do not regret lying to protect you or concealing the truth. I have no regrets because you grew up safe and happy. If you choose to hate me then so be it i will gladly accept for I would do it all again as long as you were happy."
He bowed his head shamefully as he could not bear to look at her. Ellie reached forward and grabbed hold of Asmodious pulling him into a hug tears rolling down her pink cheeks into his hair.
"How could I ever hate you. You sacrificed so much and took care of me just so I could be happy...I love you dad"
