Capítulo 41: Chapter 40
Ellie slapped herself frantically and could feel the pain from each blow. Asmodious grabbed her hands and restrained her.
"What are you doing?! What's wrong?" he said in a concerned voice.
"I was making sure I wasn't sleeping..." Ellie said.
Her expression was blank as her mind went over what was happening. The blue light appeared. It turned into a woman. The woman claimed to be her mother. Asmodious had returned. But no one buy Ellie could see this woman. It was a lot to process.
"I can see you are struggling. I will return. I'll give you time to process. Come find me when you see your true self." The woman said and a faint blue light floated from her fingertips and landed on Ellie just to be absorbed into her skin.
Ellie turned and watched as the woman slowly faded as though she was being erased from the world. Ellie felt sad. Her chest tightened. Why was she sad at a strangers departure.
"...tomorrow we will head to the kings castle and talk about all that has happened. So you must rest. " Ellie only just realised that Asmodious had been talking to her.
"What did you say?" she asked.
"I said, I managed to find the king after weeks of searching and I explained what had been happening to you and my suspicions, he a has asked that I bring you to see him so tomorrow we will head to the kings castle and we will talk about all that has happened. Which is why I said you should rest."
Ellie blinked rapidly. Why was she standing here? Why was Asmodious in here? Where was she? This wasn't the cabin. What was going on. Everything began to blur Asmodious shouted but Ellie couldn't hear what he was saying. His mouth was moving but the world had gone silent. Ellie staggard backwards shaking her head. Asmodious just stood staring his mouth open in shock. A blinding gain shot across her eyes. Her head began to throb. A headache?? A sharp burning pain on her forehead. There were voices shouting Ellie opened her eyes slightly through the pain to see Asmodious and Remy outside a blue glass wall. Blood dripped before her eyes. Where Did that come from? Why was her head wet? Bones in her back began to break she was forced to her knees from the sheer agony of them breaking and re-breaking, her very flesh tore and stretched. This pain...it had to stop. She couldn't bear it anymore. Was she dying? This was it she was going to die. She looked down to see she was kneeling in a pool of her own blood. She glanced up to see Remy going crazy trying to break through the faint blue light. Ellie began laughing hysterically. She couldn't stop. What was happening. She looked at Remy and could see the sheer panic on his face. There were tears there too. Asmodious hadn't moved he had been shocked beyond comprehension. This was it she would die and they would watch. The two men who mattered most. Her father/mentor figure and the man she loved with all her heart. Tears fell and she stopped laughing. She gazed at them hopelessly she could feel her vision darkening but she would hold on with every ounce..just to see them a little longer...
"I'm sorry..." She whispered as her body fell to the floor.
