Capítulo 22: Chapter 21
Ellie barely slept a wink. She was so excited. Not only would she be doing new tasks but she was going to meet others and develope possible friendships just like she always imagined. She hurried to wash and dress and rushed downstairs. When she reached the table the stopped dead in her tracks, it was Asmodious he was back! She flung herself into his arms and he embraced her tightly.
"My child did you miss me?" he said with a smile.
"Of course I did! Where have you been? What have you been up to? Why were you away for so long?" Ellie couldn't contain herself she wanted to know and wanted to know now.
Asmodious laughed.
"He's been with me." A cold voice sounded from behind Asmodious. Ellie peered round to see the source. It was Remy. She would recognise those green eyes anywhere. Looking at him.she had a strange feeling in her chest but she quickly dismissed it.
"There is no work for you today Ellie, instead I wish to speak to about a few things and assign something to you if you will agree." Asmodious looked her in the eyes as he spoke and Ellie felt her heart drop.
"But I was supposed to be meeting new people today, and Madam Vesser is expecting me."
"I understand that your disappointed, but if it wasn't something important I would not ask it of you. Besides I have already explained to Madam Vesser and she has graciously allowed you time off. Also you can make friends when you get back anyway it's not like I'm stopping you from returning ever again."
Ellie looked at Asmodious he was smiling gently at her. Ellie sighed and nodded her agreement. Asmodious clapped his hands and beamed at her. He gestured to the table and they all sat (including Remy, why was he still there?) and had breakfast. Once they finished Asmodious stood and walked towards his study with Remy, Ellie helped Miranda clean and tidy. Afterwards Asmodious summoned her to his study.
"Ellie take a seat."
She sat down, there were papers strewn all over his desk. It was in a messy state, so unlike the neat and tidyness that it was usually in. After glancing about the room she noticed Remy was still here. He appeared to be sleeping on the couch next to the bookshelf. She turned to Asmodious who clasped his hands and leaned on them gazing intently at Ellie.
"How much do you know about the void..?"
