Capítulo 11: Chapter 10
Ellie looked into Asmodious dark eyes. They gave away nothing but she still sensed he hadn't told her everything. There was a feeling of emptiness to his words that she couldn't explain. His words were honest but incomplete. For whatever reason he was still hiding something. Ellie shook her head..
"I understand what your saying..thank you for telling me all this."
Ellie didn't want to say what was really on her mind. She didn't want to hurt him.
I can't stay..I want to meet others, I want to explore, I want to pave my own way, meet Mr right, fall in love and have a family...I want to see all the different people I want to see their magic I want to live with a bit of danger instead of in a bubble. I don't want your protection I want freedom...Ellie thought all this but couldn't bring herself to say any of it.
"I can see your hesitation, you probably think I'm interfering and trying yo control your life..I don't want that. How about you stay here but I find you a job in town...?" Asmodious asked tentatively
..in town.. he had said in town.. that meant not at the church.. that meant meeting new people.. that meant seeing what was out there.. that meant experiencing problems and facing challenges.. which meant she could experience everything she had been deprived of growing up for the sake of safety..
"We can start with this and gradually increase your exposure to the outside world overtime ?" He knew it was pointless to ask her to stay here all the time, it was just his selfishness. He wasn't getting any younger she would need to face it eventually. This way he could still keep her safe and she could still have her freedom...If she agreed...
"Okay..but you have to promise you won't interfere when I'm out there."
She agreed..he didn't expect this.
"Very well. Give me three days to arrange things just in time for your 18th."
"Okay.."
The deal had been made...
