As those words left my lips I entered the gateway to my future.
I woke up to see myself in a hospital and as I looked up I saw my mother. She was smiling at me tears of joy were streaming through her face. I felt the tears splash onto my face and then all my memories flud back in. I attempted to smile back or to say something, but I was unable too.
"What should we name him?" she said gleefully
My dad said "Kenji." with a smile.
14 years later...
My name is Kenji and I was reincarnated into the world called Ethos. In this world there are dungeons and monsters. In this world you can become an adventurer at the age of 14 and then you can join a guild. And you can make alot of money out of it if you become a high enough rank. In this world there is a 40%
chance you are born with an special ability my ability is called Carry! All abilities are unique and different everyone has a different ability. I go to a regular school but there are magic academies.
"Kenji! Kenji! Wake up it's time for school."
I opened my eyes to see mom staring at me I'll let you off because it's your birthday but if you keep sleeping late then you will be late for school!
"Yes mom." I said in a tired tone
Then I realised it is my birthday today! I quickly got dressed and got ready for school I saw my childhood friend and as soon as I approached her
she started singing "haaaaaapy birthday to you." in a joking voice I gave her a nudge and she stopped and we laughed it off. My childhood friend's name is Rukia we have gone to the same school as each other for years now so we know each other very well .When we got to school me and Rukia parted to our classes.
"Hi dude." I turned around to see my best friend Hajime, Hajime was the person who showed me around school and had a foreign language.
"Are ya throwin a parte for ya birthday?" He asked in his danish accent.
I said "Nah."
And I had really boring lessons today so I just looked out the window and doodled. Then I heard the teacher call my name. She said the principal wants to see me. "Uhhhhhh what did you do this time." One of my friends said jokingly. Little did I know how big of a deal this was.
