Overall I dont like books thAt romantisiZe abuse so i really dIdnt like it. if others due this is a good book For You. The plot from what i read so far updates enough

It's alright... Depends on the topics you like... Overall the story is fine, but then again, I can be picky. Story for me confused, but I read on.
If you want to torture yourself and spend your time crying over stupid characters who alienate their loved ones than wonder why their loved one avoids them, than this is exactly what you’re looking for.
This was an ok read but to be honest... it was a bit of abusive in content. It’s not bad but it’s not great and I feel like it could be better. Now if you like books like this then read at your own risk lol
I really am disappointed with this story. The FL is is trained from young age to be ML 's wife more like slave while ML abuses her all the time when he is waiting for her to react aggressively to it instead of being submissive. I believe if you love someone you can never hurt them.

Really good. Had fun reading it nice way to just burn some time. I really like the characters and how the story played out I’m not finished yet but I like the way it’s heading.
Its really hateful reading a story like this. Im not excited anymore. Its not good having fl nd ml so cold and both liar to each other. It is better to forget and get another novel instead of this. Author has to balance the story instead of prolonging the agony. Three years! My goodness. What a dull life it is.

Just another cycle of abuse story with no love or romance. Don't waste your time. The characters aren't even attention grabbing. One more abuse story after another. I want to feel happy and jealous from romance not pity that I wasted time and coins on another depressing abuse novel. Where are decent FL and ML...
Seems well put together for my taste. I didn’t find any major flaws in the translation. I think the story development is a little slow for my taste, I prefer fast paced and something that leaves you constantly wanting more and more.
It's happy ending... and luckily only 982 chapters. Otherwise, it's torturing... it took more than 500 chapters for both ML and FL to clear up the misunderstanding occured before... yes, the ML is abusive, but FL also kind of dumb for me... both didn't know how to talk... only after more than half of the story, we get less annoyed with the story...

It’s so irritating that the ml acts like a complete douche to fl even though deep down he loves her...fl has always been the one for him...all the misunderstandings were created by the fl twin sister and helping her in all this was ml maternal cousin who in fact is in love with this villain sister...but later on there is some growth in ml...as he understands that wat he is doing to fl is infact hurting her... they so divorce and then remarry... the way the ml treats that white lotus villain sister is the best

It's just sad that CN novels are into these type of women. Instead of empowering readers (which mostly are women). They portray a weak character who relies on men. I mean girl, it's the 21st century. We are promoting equality and feminism. But hey, this novel was well translated and the writing is really good. Just hope that they would put their talent to good use. These type of novels are tiring to read. :(

A timid,docile FL..the ML.is such a pompous jerk anusing the FL Misunderstanding galore..too.much angst.. But I want.to.find out the main cause of the misunderstanding
I was in the mood for some angst and decided to give this a try. MC and her twin sister were raised with ML with the intent that one of them would end up being ML's bride. ML has always been interested in MC but doing reverse psychology on his mom, he selected the twin sister as his bride. Which led the mom to choose MC instead. ML starts to feel that MC does not love him and only serve him like a servant so he rages and acts out in order to get a response from her. MC, on the other hand, thinks that he prefers her twin. Lots of misunderstandings and angst. 60 chapters isn't enough. At the end of the trial read, ML is still upset over MC's indifference and MC is still trying to not tip the scale.

Too much dog blood. Well, it's not unexpected because the author's previous works was the same. It's just I disagree with how the author romanticized crime. Please webnovel, I don't really expect you to pick novel with less dog blood. But please, some novel like this must be excluded from range of selection.

Its like a case study on how repetive abuse causes desolation and the thought of freedom can never be achieved by the victims. I kept reading hoping the woman would shirk her shackles and escape. 60 chapters of domestic violence. The Male acts as though his extreme violent tendencies are all her fault. Everyone around him enables him to do so. You keep hoping for a sense of justice. You won't get it.

Banalizing rape, manipulation, mistreatment, contempt, abuse, ... all of this is not only a crime punishable by law but it is also against ethics and human values. Slavery is a crime. Fully and openly encouraging this kind of abusive, manipulative, despicable and contemptuous behavior and treatment, in short inhuman and against all universal human ethics, is simply propaganda and a call for the return of feudalism and slavery of human beings who are a little less endowed and provided "socially", it is really very dangerous. Above all, I am more than sure that there is a very young and adolescent base (under 18 years and even these above, they are still so yoiung and vulnerable, to understand that it is not only bad behavious and way of thinking but it is really crimes) who read this kind of ... It is just catastrophic and dangerous. Really!
