Capítulo 25: Inside the walls

"We have to storm this place, for there to be so many people guarding this place and to make walls like this it can't be a work of a normal human being, there must be evolved humans inside and barging inside without preparation would be suicidal," Jason said as he gazed at the wall.
"For them to create such a stronghold on the first day of the apocalypse the person leading them should be nothing less than amazing," Jason said with admiration in his voice. But soon his voice turned cold. " But right now we have to assume that they are our enemies, we have to go by the worst-case scenario of Kim being held in prison by those people. We'll have to first asses the situation before doing something."
Looking at Arya's worried face he smiled at her with confidence. " Don't worry I have a plan"
This caused Arya's tensed body to loosen up, after all, that had happened she had full trust in Jason.
'Let me confirm something before going through this.' Jason said to himself.
Jason opened the weapons section in the system store and then looked for something that would do the work.
The smile on his face widened as he saw the things he wanted. He bought 2 smoke bombs, one flashbang and a frag grenade. After purchasing all this all he was left was a measly sum of 150 coins
"I'm ready to roll" Jason then took out a radio out of thin air. After some deliberation he had decided not to hide some of his basic powers from his friends and bringing things out of thin air was one of them, he just pushed all of them onto the imaginary person helping him.
"It works for one-mile range," Jason said as he tossed it at Harry.
"I'll give you a signal and after that come inside, I'll create an opening for the bus to come inside."
"Sayonara" Jason disappeared in a blur as he rushed at a scheduled corner.
"Even though he has become somewhat serious he still is the same reckless fool we know," Arya said with a faint smile.
Jason, on the other hand was far away from the bus, he was hiding behind a car and he was looking for an opening to go inside the gate. On the journey to here, he had thought a lot about his powers and had thought of the best solution to control his powers for now and the solution he came up was to imagine it as an on-off switch. Then it would be as easy as breathing for him to go in and out of that super fast zone. The only draw-back was that his body was not accustomed enough for that high-speed motion and it would break down if he stayed too long in that state.
He had practised it during driving turning it on and off and seeing the world slow down and then speed up, it almost caused him to be nauseous.
He Gazed at the gate, someone was talking to the guard and they seemed to be asking for entry.
"It's showtime" Jason snickered as he readied himself for some action.
*Woosh
As soon as the guard opened the door he felt as if someone passed by him but when he looked around no one was there.
"What happened" The guard on wall asked.
"Nothing, I'm just a little bit jumpy I guess"
The guard replied with a sheepish look on his face.
Jason, on the other hand, was inside a shop and was peering at his surrounding through a glass window.
"It was easier than I thought," Jason said as he looked at the police station. Now that he was inside the walls he had to first get information on Kim before doing anything.
But looking at the state of his body he could not help but sigh. While his power was super awesome, his body was not capable enough to handle it. Just running this much had strained his body. He might only have another two shots of his power.
He looked around for a guy who looked like he had some authority, and he noticed a guy with golden hair lazing around on the entrance of the housing colony. He had a machine gun in his hands and was sitting on a chair instead of walking around like all others.
'He's the one.' Jason thought as he decided to go after that guy.
He blurred out of existence and the guards around the guy with golden hair felt as if some invisible wind passed through them and when they looked around they could not find any signs fo him as if he simply vanished out of existence.
*smash
Jason threw the guy on the floor as he came to a stop inside one of the rooms in the housing colony.
The guy looked around with a confused look as he could not comprehend how he came here, all he knew was that he was sitting on his chair and then everything blurred out and then *smash he is being thrown on the floor of some room.
When he finally looked ahead he almost got the fright of his life as a boy was standing before him aiming what used to be his machine gun at his head with an impassive look on his face.
"I ask, you answer. If you want this petty little head of yours to stay intact then do as I say." The boy said in a domineering tone.
'Are all college students this terrifying?" The man thought as a shiver ran up his spine.
