Jaybird just barely managed to block all three of Lyghtning's swift attacks.
"Ease up, will you, Lyght," Jaybird pleaded.

That last slash would have cut his throat from end to end if he didn't have wings to pull him away in time.
Jaybird escaped to the air. "Guys! Any luck getting those books yet?"
"Working on it!" Argonaut answered.
Krak-a-boom!
His shield blocked against the [THUNDERSTRIKE] Liberty Belle sent his way.
"She's not letting us near the throne!" Argonaut reported.
Liberty Belle was performing the role of tank splendidly as not even Cyborg Ninja could get past her.
"Seriously!" Bulldog Alfie had just fired a [RAY OF LIGHT] at Ath3na that Liberty Belle's Asunder smashed away. "Was she always this good?"
