Capítulo 36: Danger

Xia opened her eyes. The shot of pain creeping her body hit her in waves after realizing that she is aching all over. She curled her back until her knees barely touch her chest and bit her lower lip trying to overcome the pain. Her bones feel so stiff and painful as if her bone was badly beaten, particularly her ribs, it felt like it was broken.

The cemented floor she was lying was cold, but she barely felt the seeping coldness at all as she lay down the floor with both her arms and feet severely bruised by the tight rope that bound it together. Whoever tied her made it so sure she will never have the slightest chance to escape.  She was trying to stay conscious despite the pain. She needs to know where she was.

"I'm glad you are awake." It was Lucy's familiar voice, she just entered the door, her lips curled into a sinister smile. Pure evilness shone brightly on her eyes as she stared at Xia's helpless figure lying on the floor like a beggar with her dirty clothes.
