The next day, Amber and Ashton stayed at her place.

They have nothing in mind or anything they wanted to do.

She was lying on his lap while he was reading some report that was sent over on his tablet.

He may have asked a break but he still works remotely in order to keep the company in its track.

It has been almost half a year after he once again took over the company and he had been able to make it rise back to half from where it was before he threw a rampage.

The major shareholders were no longer skeptical about him once again taking over the company for he showed his full potential within just a short span of time.

Amber was just scrolling on her phone.

"Ash?"

"Hmmm?"

"Can't we still get married?"

Ashton looked down at her with her sudden question, Amber was already looking up at him with her phone on the coffee table.

She was not wearing her mask.
