Capítulo 30: Mysterious Beginnings
After they all finished their training they decided it was time to head home. Not much has happened since they recovered all of Elan's missing memories. Tyler knew more about Elan as they days went by. Lucas and Jacob also knew a lot about Tyler and Elan but the true mystery was still on their minds. They were all thinking about it and not knowing how to bring it up.
Graduation was just around the corner and they were all about to be college students. This scared Elan because this means Elan's Grandmother will have to leave Elan to be on her own. They had three weeks till then so they decided to spend as much time together developing Elan's powers to help her through life.
Elan decided to test out of high school three weeks early so she can fully be prepared for what comes her way since she only has a small amount of time till she is 18. Elan practiced the new skills she learned through the secret powers hidden throughout the books she was given. In these past few weeks of intensive training she developed the powers to control her dreams along with being able to read people's thoughts.
* Darby also changed *
Darby was able to develop some of the strongest powers that was known at this time. He discovered how to manipulate elements of water and fire. Darby's power of being able to read minds doesn't work on Elan anymore because she has also obtained that power. Darby was so enraged about her new developments that he went to a darker power and gained two powers which are teleportation and telekinesis.
Darby was forging new plans on how to get a hold of Elan for her powers before she gets to a certain age. Everyday he would make a new plan and teleport to Elan's location to see if she was learning anything new. He didn't want to be surprised about anything so his mission can be a success.
* Elan's House *
Elan was practicing her powers when all of a sudden she heard a small knocking sound come from her front door. She slowly walked towards the door because she wasn't expecting anyone at that moment. Everyone should be in school right now she got to the door but didn't see anybody through the window. She unlocked the door and opened it up just a little bit but, it was an empty area. She opened the door more and saw nothing she started to get scared she quickly closed the door to lock it again. As soon as she clicked the lock she heard a slightly louder knock on the back door. She went to go look out that door but this time she left the chain lock on so nothing could kick in her door.
Slowly approaching the back door she looked out and saw nothing. Elan ran to the house phone and saw that the cables on the phone were cut. She realized that she wasn't alone anymore. She ran to her room and grabbed her cellphone and called her grandmother. The only thing her grandmother told her was to get out of the house before she hears the third knocking. She grabbed her shoes and ran for the door she went to open the front door but saw a small black figure standing on the porch. She was still on her phone and when she told her grandmother. She was told to not open that door no matter what and to go through any other exit besides the doors.
Elan jumped through the window and made it to her car. She drove off to go far away from home while staying in town till her grandmother gets back.
*Four hours later*
Her grandmother met with her at a coffee shop with a strange person she never seen before. She was told that this girl will cleanse the house and also cleanse Elan as she has some unholy things that have been following her. "My dear ever since we got you back from your coma state you have been followed by a dark spirit of a dead little girl. We currently don't know why this girl is holding a grudge against you but we will try to talk to her before she try's to kill you. That is why we had you leave your house before you heard the third knock", Elan's grandmother said with such concern in her face so Elan knew she was being serious.
They decided to get the group together to see if the little girl was only mad at Elan or if she was mad at the other three. It was about 1 am, they all sat on the floor in the library and made a circle of candles and sage for protection. They started to notice things moving around the room and it suddenly came to a stop. They soon realized they could start asking questions.
