Capítulo 24: Chapter 24: Leaving

He had no memory pertaining to his mother. All he knows was that he grew up with only his father and his uncle's family by his side. In his past life, he had no one to call mother. His biological mother left him early on since he had lung cancer. He had no one. Wang Tian felt the sorrow that came from the previous Wang Tian's body.

It affected him greatly.

"Young Master, Senior Brother Dragon wants to see you now." A very curvy figure said. This figure had long black hair and beauty that could topple kingdoms! This was that beautiful lady monster! Although she preferred to be called Lady Second. Six years ago, when Wang Tian was just starting to train continuously under Senior Dragon's guidance, Senior Dragon told him that he was going to go back and check on things at the tomb. Wang Tian nodded and then Senior Dragon left. After a few hours, Lady Second was with Senior Dragon. Lady Second had a very complicated expression knowing that that perverted little rascal was his master's successor.

Old third, the golem, was left there to guard the tomb from other unnecessary people.

At first, they argued a lot. Wang Tian's hatred never ceased to exist. Lady Second can't hurt Wang Tian since Wang Tian was now his Young Master. They only bickered night and day. Wang Tian always gave her the cold shoulder. After spending more than a year's time with her, they both grew accustomed to the other's presence. Although Wang Tian really wanted to exact his revenge, he knew that this wasn't the right time. He can only suck it up and wait until he had enough strength. Either way, Lady Second was his predecessor's companion. He was his predecessor's successor. He had much higher status than Lady Second. Lady Second was quite prideful but she would not reject Wang Tian's request because of her duty to her master. But Wang Tian didn't know this. The fear that he felt from getting beaten to a pulp by Lady Second was etched into his mind. He was very cautious around this lady.

Wang Tian looked at her with indifference and then he nodded.

'This brat really doesn't forget! I just punched him a few hundred times! What harm could I have caused!?' Lady Second thought to herself feeling quite upset.

She snorted and then she disappeared. Making her way back to Senior Dragon's lair.

After a few moments, Wang Tian sighed and then quickly went back.

He hid the scythe inside the storage ring while he was running back. After just a few short breaths, Wang Tian has traversed more than a thousand kilometers.

Shortly after, he arrived at Senior Dragon's lair. This lair was quite spacious. Enough for Senior Dragon to stretch his wings. It looked like a cave but the designs inside were very beautiful. Artistic carvings of dragons, a golem, a humanoid spectre, and a lady. All serving a powerful figure. This cave was supposedly created 5 years ago by the combined efforts of Lady Second and Senior Dragon. Lady Second was the one who carved the designs while Senior Dragon was the one who made this big cave.

He saw his Senior Dragon and Lady Second talking. Senior Dragon was the one who guided him in his cultivation through all these years. Wang Tian treated him like family.

"Senior Dragon, what's the matter? Lady Second told me you called for me?" Wang Tian said. Wang Tian's voice was now deep and sounded nothing like it was before.

Senior Dragon inspected Wang Tian from head to toe. 'In just a few short years, he brokethrough 3 levels. But it doesn't really matter what level he is in since this boy can easily kill a Zifu Realm Expert and perhaps might stand a chance against a Wanxiang Adept.' Senior Dragon thought to himself. This was what he observed over the past 7 years. The talent of this Young Master of his was very monstrous. Even more monstrous than his late master! And his master was a peerless genius! Moreover, the temperament of this Young Master of his greatly surpassed those of the same age. Wang Tian also possessed this peculiar aura that made him much more intimidating.

"Young Master, your training is now finished. We are going back to the tomb. Are you ready?" Senior Dragon asked.

"It's finally this day? We can finally leave this place? I can finally see my father?" Wang Tian said excitedly.

'Father! Wait for me! Your son is coming back!' Wang Tian thought to himself. All these years, he really wanted to see his father. But due to the risk of getting killed, Senior Dragon forbid it.

"Yes it is. Come now Young Master, climb up on my head" Senior Dragon said.

Wang Tian jumped towards the head of Senior Dragon. Lady Second quickly followed suit.

Senior Dragon spread his wings and flew up high into the sky. Wang Tian looked at this spatial rift that he spent 7 years of his life in. He will never forget it.

Senior Dragon roared and then spit out a fireball towards the sky. The three of them entered it.

...

Back inside the tomb, The Golem Guardian was guarding his post when he noticed a familiar feeling. After a few seconds, he heard a roar that was like music to his rock solid ears.

This roar reverberated across the tomb. The Golem Guardian's eyes shone and then he dashed towards the post of his Senior Brother Dragon.

After a few moments his eyes laid upon Wang Tian and company. He bowed at Wang Tian and then said, "Kid, you didn't disappoint me!" He laughed heartily. This was the second time that they met again. The first time was 7 years ago and this was the second time. Although the two never talked that much since they didn't have that much time, Wang Tian had a good impression towards his Senior Golem.

Wang Tian jumped off of Senior Dragon's head and then he bowed towards his Senior Golem. "Thank you Senior Golem for going easy on me back then" Wang Tian said and smiled.

"Going easy? Brat, you destroyed 256 of your golem counterparts and you thought that was going easy?" Senior Golem laughed.

"Manners Brother Golem. He's our Young Master now. The successor of master." The dignified dragon said.

Wang Tian laughed and then said, "No, it's okay. Status doesn't really matter to me."

'This kid is quite the character. Most geniuses would become arrogant especially when they receive such a venerated status.' Senior Golem thought.

Senior Golem laughed merrily and then he asked, "why have you come back? Will we go out now?"

Senior Dragon looked at Wang Tian and said, "That's correct. Young Master has grown up and needs to be tempered. Rather than stay here all cooped up."

"A brat is a brat" Lady Second remarked.

Wang Tian looked at her indifferently and then he asked a question. "Senior Dragon, isn't this tomb of Senior Tang inside a rock?". This was a question that he wanted to ask way back to a few years ago but he never had the chance since all they did was train, train and train. The pain that he experienced when training made him forgot everything that he pondered about. Well, momentarily at least.

"It is." Senior Dragon answered.

"Then I suppose it would be okay if I take it with me?" Wang Tian suggested an idea.

"Preposterous!" Lady Second said.

Wang Tian paid her no heed. "I'm Senior Tang's successor. In fact, I should also be calling him Master. But i found a note inside Senior Tang's storage ring that told me that he didn't want to be called master by his own successor."

"I am his successor and I have the right to take the stone with me. To protect it. It is also part of our Master's legacy." Wang Tian said.

The three guardians all furrowed their brows.

"I want to ask all of you a question." Wang Tian asked solemnly.

"I am our master's successor. But I don't want to confine you here and serve me. You have protected this place for almost ten thousand years." Wang Tian said.

"I will bring with me this spatial rift. Master's tomb. I want to protect it. I want to ask all of you to protect it with me but that would be being selfish since you've already done your part. I, Wang Tian, as his successor, should do my part as well." Wang Tian continued.

They were all deeply touched by what Wang Tian said. Indeed, they have been protecting this tomb for far too long. They couldn't leave this place because of their loyalty towards their master. But now Wang Tian was offering them freedom.

Before his master even felt dying, they all followed him everywhere. They were his most trusted companions. They loved his master but having freedom would not be a bad idea.

"If I asked you all to be by my side, I want to it to be voluntarily. Not against your will." Wang Tian said.

"Do you want to stay here with me? Or do you want to have your freedom back?" Wang Tian asked again.

Indeed, this was Wang Tian. Over the past 7 years, Wang Tian cultivated the Death Technique nonstop. Hence his present cultivation. He was now evil. Plain evil. He didn't switch between good and evil. He doesn't erupt and lose control like he did 7 years ago. Wang Tian is being good to them now because he isn't the ungrateful kind.

These guardians helped his master in anything. It was only fair to let them now choose their own destinies. Besides, he didn't have the strength to let them stay. Why not let them choose and appear magnanimous? It was killing two birds with one stone!

"Young Master, this old one will stay with you and help you guard Master's tomb. I believe that you will achieve great things. I want to witness your rise." The Golem Guardian was the first to speak up.

Unlike the rest of them, the Golem Guardian didn't have any where to go. His master was the one who saved him from death. Back then, he swore to serve his master and his master's descendants until he died. That includes Wang Tian.

"I want to have my freedom back and visit my family. I haven't seen them for more than a hundred thousand years..." Lady Second said with a hint of yearning in her tone.

Wang Tian looked at her and then he said, "Do as you wish. I do not want to hold you back."

And finally, Senior Dragon. He looked at Senior Dragon waiting for his answer. Senior Dragon was in deep contemplation. Wang Tian didn't have any high hopes of being able to entice Senior Dragon to stay. Senior Dragon was of the Dragon race. A righteous race. He assumed that they were all busybodies.

"I shall go back to my family, Young Master. However, I will come back again. I just want to see how things are at home. I have been away for almost a million years now." Senior Dragon said.

Wang Tian looked at him with reluctancy in his eyes. Although he expected that his Senior Dragon would not stay, he couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. Senior Dragon was someone who helped him in his cultivation. Helping him to become much more stronger and formidable. He saw him as his family. He naturally didn't want him to leave but he wasn't that insensitive.

"Child, I will be back. I shall also accompany you like I did with my Master. I also want to see you rise to the pinnacle. Do not be sad." Senior Dragon said. As Wang Tian sees him as kin, he also sees Wang Tian as family.

Wang Tian tossed the sorrow that he was feeling at the back of his head and then he nodded. He looked at the three guardians. He didn't expect that any one of them would stay actually. Although he had the status of being their Young Master, he wasn't confident that he could make them stay.
