The reason for Victor Crowley is attacking me and my interests so adamantly is because although I am currently engaged to Melissa Verde I of yet to officially marry into their family meaning that I am still technically under Victor's jurisdiction as he can't come after me directly because of precarious position which is why I am currently in the state I'm in now I could easily have this handled by by the Verde family but it is very unlikely that they would do me such a favor for free especially since I warned them about my prices earlier they would likely use this opportunity to make sure that I owe them and would force me use a spirit contract for their intervention.
This was not really a problem for me although Victor is imperial nobility he is just an imperial baron while piggy is the son of a imperial viscount and since I decided to pay back all debts I had Prince Edward look into the Reston family in his kingdom and begin suppressing them at every avenue while I could only force Victor to back off for now the Reston family wasn't powerful enough to make the same claim so besides suppression I had Prince Edward look for traitorous information on them and if he could not find any then he must create some to which he started to state some bullshit about ethics then I slapped him around a few times until learned that garbage only existed in fairy tales.
With everything set up to take care of the problems I had a little bit of time to myself so I could do some research on the the delegates that were due to arrive in about two days the elves were sending three high elves one sun elf and two moon elves to be exact the sun elf is supposed to be a highly regarded magician but is flamboyant and friendly and apparently the only one to volunteer to come to the human empire the other two moon elves are siblings the male is someone who is well known for his disdain of the human empire and it's practices especially since his best friend is from the beast man empire finally the last member of the elven delegation is alchemist and history buff of the various elven tribes and traditions and she is well respected in her field of study decoding lost eleven texts and help to revive lost magics.
The beast delegation is sending two beast men and two beast kin the first one is a weasel beast man subspecies known as a stoat which are said to be noble but it is also mentioned that this one in particular might be a serial killer and a rapist with an obsession for torture and apparently is so good at covering his tracks that no one could prove it was him at all although there is a tremendous amount of suspicion the second beast man is a coyote he like Lucy is also a descendant of a trickster sacred beast but unlike the illusion fox she descends from it is a harmless prankster that usually uses such methods to teach as it is well known for its wisdom as for the beast kin the first is a silver wolf war hero that caused the human army to be pushed back time and again unable to gain footing wherever the wolf protected the border the second is fith in line for beast empire and that is all the information I was able to retrieve which should reveal more about whomever it is but it doesn't all investigations led to dead ends.
