Capítulo 29: Chapter 30: Submission of the Werewolves
The Ministry of Magic and Dumbledore knew about the disappearing of the werewolves. It seems that one of the spell fights were seen by a passing magical who was on a broom. The wizard in question was too drunk to apparate or or portkeys so he took the broom. Thankfully, he moved towards Ministry on his broom only so Alexander's operation had not been busted. Alexander was not overly concerned about the Ministry or the Dumbledore but they had the capability of somewhat hindering his plans. Alexander forwarded this problem to his ministers and took a short nap.
His scientists had used wit sharpening potions in order to develop the solution of bloodline issue in 10 days. The werewolves had been knocked out for 7 days. The werewolves that Alexander captured numbered up to 8,000. According to the memories of the werewolves whose mind Alexander had read, there were muggle packs also but they remained in the muggle world. Alexander deployed his elves to search the whole Britain for such people. The curse free elves were much more sensitive to magic then normal wizards so they could easily find the magical presence of werewolves in the non magical world.
Alexander's scientists had devised a ritual that would make the werewolves capable of changing at any time but they would not be able to change others into werewolves anymore. This was only the preliminary results as Alexander wanted all the effects of this ritual studied thoroughly. Further tests on some unwilling werewolves showed that the regeneration of the werewolves had increased along with increase in magic of the werewolves and they now had full control over their bodies during the change. No further progress could be made as there was not enough time. For Alexander, this much results were sufficient.
During the time the cure was being developed, Alexander had captured nearly all the werewolves in the Britain. Now, Alexander had 20,000 werewolves in his dungeons. Most of the newly captured werewolves were non magicals only a few magical werewolves managed to escape. The side effect was that the Aurors, Dumbledore and various ministries of different countries had been alerted. The foreign werewolf packs were also on alert. It made the situation for Alexander a little bit tough but not unmanagable.
Alexander now also had the names of the first generation wizards who passed out of Hogwarts and the lists of possible and confirmed first generation wizards prepared by various non magical governments. After Alexander made this batch of werewolves submit, he would escalate his conquering plans. Alexander has now decided to deal with the werewolves as he had already reached the peak of liquid stage and his magical power was now at 80,000 MP.
Alexander prepared a re-useable ritual circle as preparing separate ritual circles for 20,000 werewolves would be expensive and time consuming. These ritual circles were permanently drawn on special platforms and only magic is needed to be supplied in order for the ritual to activate. Alexander had the elves assemble his thousands of guests in the garden for a meeting. His guests would undoubtfully be angry so Alexander put up the standard engagement wards of his forces and then casted mass enervate. Alexander had made sure that the werewolf children have no side effects from being unconcious for so long.
The werewolves woke up with massive headaches so Alexander released a wave of magic with the intention to heal their headache. As entertaining it would have been to see them groaning and cursing each other for the noises made by them, Alexander was on a somewhat tight schedule. The werewolves started shouting at each other and also cursing their captors. Alexander again casted a mass silencing charm and clapped his hands twice and said, " Now, that everyone is up and about. I want to make some things clear. I was the one who ordered your picking up. The reason behind this is that we have found a cure to your problem. Well!! you cannot say that it is a cure but it is vastly better than your current condition. I didn't want to deal with the ministry or any other self righteous fellow who would question my method of treating you so I had all of you picked up. The method of treating you is by a ritual so you could understand that the ministry would not allow this. This method has already been tested on some of your companions so you can ask them about it's success. Now, I would be lifting the silencing ward if you have any questions then raise your hands." Alexander could see that the majority of the werewolves didn't believe this but wanted to meet their so called companions. Alexander watched as nearly all the werewolves present raised their hands. Alexander said, " I think we should let your pack leaders ask their questions. If you have any questions left then you can ask it after them."
It was Williams who spoke up first, " This cure , what is it? Does it changes us from being a werewolf to normal wizard?"
Alexander, " No, it does not change you to a normal wizard but it gives you the power to change at will but you would not be able to change anyone after this ritual."
John, another pack leaders asked, " Then, how is it a cure?"
Alexander, " You can control your change so you will never have to change if you don't want to."
Adams, another pack leader asked, " What is your aim behind all this? Why did you capture us like this?"
Alexander, " I was on a tight schedule so I captured you. My aim is to have you all join my kingdom as my subjects."
Williams, " You have a kingdom!!!"
Alexander, " Of Course!!! Do you think that a normal person can capture all the werewolves present in Britain?"
Sam, a female pack leader, " You have captured all the werewolves of the Britain. How? Even, we don't know, how many werewolves are there in Britain?"
Alexander replied, " I have captured nearly all the werewolves in Britain. There are 20,000 werewolves present here at present. Now, to become a subject of kingdom, you have to say that you submit to King Alexander."
Williams, " First, we want to meet the so-called cured werewolves. Then, we will decide what to do next?"
Alexander, " All Right but you don't have much time as the ministry are searching for you all. If we get caught then forget about getting your cure and Jack!!! Sarah and Daniel are well."
Alexander watched as the werewolves met with the cured werewolves and the cured ones told them all about the procedure and it's pros and cons. The werewolves really looked excited and the pack leaders also had hopeful expressions on their faces. They gathered in a small group and in the end decided that a small group will submit and then get cured and report back to the rest. Alexander then spoke up, " I have no objection against your decision but those who have been cured will now submit to me. If you think that I cannot reverse you back then you are wrong. I can do it but I will do this only to those who will not submit to me."
Sam asked, " How can we believe that you won't use this as a bargaining chip to control us?"
Alexander, " Every emperor takes a magical vow that he will not bring harm to his subjects with malicious intention. So, you can rest assure." Alexander had used compelltion magic in his last sentence to make the werewolves believe him. The werewolves had not sensed anything as they were held captive in a extremely magically charged field and they were also pretty excited to get the possible cure. Soon, some of the pack leaders submitted to Alexander in order to test the ritual. Alexander was impressed by their decision to sacrifice themselves.
The pack leaders returned after being cured and then the rest of the werewolves submitted to Alexander. Alexander could control when his subjects would get the information about the nature of the king so after everyone submitted he transferred the information to them. The werewolves bowed and shouted, " Your Majesty!!! We are grateful to you for this new life."
Alexander simply nodded and then said, " First, children will be cured then teenagers and lastly adults. After all of you are cured, we will discuss how to convince the werewolves in other countries to submit and get the cure."
Williams replied, " There is no need to worry. They will happily come. We just have to show them the proof. After all of us get cured, we will go to the foreign countries and convince the werewolves there and make them submit to you, your majesty."
Alexander, " No, let them get the cure first. Then, we will make them submit. Also, do all this discretely. I don't want ICW and the various ministries breathing down our necks. Every person of the envoy would first receive basic training and a portkey. Also, an elf will also go with you."
The pack leaders just bowed in acceptance. It took 10 hours to get all the werewolves cured. Alexander then discussed the action plan with the pack leaders and envoy teams were constructed. Alexander had Carter buy some fishing ships in order to smuggle the werewolves of the envoy across the sea to France. France had the most population of the werewolves due to their lenient laws.
Alexander performed the magical capacity increasing ritual and then practiced till he reaches his new peak magical strength. Alexander's MP score was now 100,000. Alexander then took a long nap in order to prepare himself for his next advancement.
