High up in the Himalayas, inside a small cave, a giant golden mirror like thing was floating. Suddenly, it rippled and a group of people stepped out. Alexander removed the wall covering the cave's entrance and all the people who had entered the portal moved out of the cave. Alexander, after closing the cave entrance turned towards others, " General Wang, return to the dig site and prepare to receive the Battalions in 7 days. O'Connell and Eve, you will complete your task after 5 days, till then stay with Jonathan. Zi Yuan and Lin will stay with you."
Alexander and others arrived in Hong Kong in 10 hours. General Wang left for the dig site while the rest left for Jonathan's place. Alexander arrived at the center of Hong Kong, due to civil war, Hong Kong had received massive influx of people from other parts of the country. Alexander let the King's Might sweep through the ground and let out a sigh of relief when he did not detect presence of any mystical item in the city of Hong Kong. Alexander then said, "I, King Alexander proclaim this land as a part of my kingdom. Do anyone wants to fight my claim?" The people living in Hong Kong, all simultaneously heard a majestic voice in their heads proclaiming itself the king of some land. Majority of people dismissed it as their imagination while the rest thought that somewhere in their vicinity, a play was going on. In the end, nobody paid attention to it. Alexander felt his claim go unchallenged and now Hong Kong and it's people become a part of his kingdom.
Alexander thought, " This method of conquest is applicable only in lower level worlds. The main purpose of this method is to help the king in establishing a quick way back home if he needs it. This method is too dangerous in higher level worlds. But, if one is powerful enough, it can be used anywhere."
As Alexander was thinking this, the King's Might started flowing in to him. Alexander had tried to understand how much King's Might, he gains from obtaining subjects and how many from conquering land but had not got any concrete results.
Alexander then moved towards Beijing. Alexander came before the residence of the head of the state of China and followed the same procedure as Hong Kong but limited it to the residence. The conquest had gone without a hitch and now Alexander had the head of the state as his subject. He ordered him to call all the main players in the Chinese government and army for a meeting. He did so and the meeting was scheduled to be held after 3 days. Alexander also inquired that if China had any mystical item. Alexander came to know that China did not have any at the moment but they were beginning to search ancient texts for any clues. Alexander then proceeded to conquer the entire Beijing city. After conquering the capital city, he found many spies hidden in the city belonging to different countries.
Alexander ordered them to meet him at a secluded warehouse near the outskirts of Beijing. Alexander reached and saw at least 40 Chinese people waiting for him. Alexander did not judge these people as the civil war had caused much grief to the common people so people turning spies to fill their stomachs, was not a surprise to him. On seeing Alexander, they all bowed. Alexander said, " I have a job for you. Forward the news that a high level meeting was held in Beijing to your respective employers. Do not give the news at the same time. Start from day of meeting for the country who has most of you employed then the next and so on. At least maintain a gap of 2 to 8 hours between the delivery of this news to your respective employers." They bowed in acceptance and Alexander discussed with them any changes to the plan so that the countries employing them, don't suspect any foul play. Some changes were made as Alexander was not some super spy like Nick Fury of marvel multiuniverse. That man was probably the most paranoid man in existence.
Alexander proceeded to conquer the population hubs of China. He didn't conquer the whole China as he had more important targets. He moved to India and proceeded to conquer the population hubs of India like Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi,etc. The reason Alexander did not conquer whole countries was that after becoming his subjects, people become more harmonious among themselves. Now, every society has conflicts and right now, the whole world was in state of unrest and tension. So, such a sudden change in behaviour of the people will surely attract attention of the countries whose attention he did not want right now. Once, it is confirmed which countries have mystical items hidden up their sleeves then, all the curtains will fall.
Alexander wanted to quickly conquer as many parts of the world he could, where there were no presence of mystical weapons. Alexander then returned back to the cave where Shangri-La was once present. He touched the portal to his kingdom and willed it out of existence. No one can know what will happen in the future, if due to some reason this location is revealed then it will be very dangerous. Alexander then moved towards the south pole. When Alexander reached Antarctica, he surveyed the land with his king's might and found a large a cavern at a depth of 200 metres below ground.With his mastery over water element he created a slide to move 200 metres deep. Alexander enjoyed the ride very much. After reaching the cavern, Alexander found that the temperature was low enough to turn a normal human being into popsicle. Alexander claimed the cavern as a part of his land and reestablished the portal here. Now, even if somehow his invasion comes to light in the eyes of the world, nobody could now harm the portal. Alexander left the cavern and filed up the slide he made.
Alexander moved towards Australia. Alexander planned to conquer Australia next because it was quite far away from the main human population and even if any news is leaked, it will take days to reach the mainland. Alexander landed on the shore of the city of Sydney and moved towards the heart of the city. After removing and reestablishing the portal, Alexander did not have much King's might left to conquer Australia in one swoop. Alexander planned to conquer Australia in parts. Alexander then proceeded to conquer the population hubs followed by the capital and then the whole continent. It was the first continent Alexander had conquered in this world. Alexander thought, " One down, Five more to go."
All this nonstop conquering had made Alexander very tired mentally. So, he returned to the cavern and made a bed of ice and slept there. As Alexander had mastery over elements now, he did not feel any cold but instead felt quite warm. Alexander woke up after an unknown amount of time and quickly made his way back. The O'Connells and others greeted him as he reached their place. Alexander asked, " For how much time was I gone?"
Eve, " Your majesty, you were gone for 2 days."
Alexander, " Looks like that the constant conquering like that made me tired. This is also a con of using the second method but the first method also had it's drawbacks."
Alexander thought, " Tomorrow the meeting would be held in Beijing. The Battalions will reach their meeting point in 4 days from today. O'Connell and Eve will complete the task I gave them in 2 days."
Alexander for the rest of the day simply toured Hong Kong. Alexander reached Beijing in the afternoon, the meeting will be held in the evening. Alexander met with Mao Zedong and moved towards the meeting chamber. All the civil and military officers started arriving shortly after. Some of them were already his subjects as he had conquered all the major major population centres of China. Generally, these officers would be on borders of the country or some other stategic locations but the civil unrest had caused some of them to be in population hubs of the country. Mao Zedong had organised a lunch party before the meeting as according to him, empty stomachs leads to irritated minds. The arriving officers were curious about him but Mao Zedong placated them. In this world, the timeline was ahead by three years and communist party now controlled China starting from the past year.
The meeting started in the evening. Mao Zedong said, " Gentlemen!! Today we are here to discuss about a very serious matter. It could effect our country's future in many ways."
One of the military officers asked, " What is it, sir?"
Mao Zedong continued, " We have the information that one of the lower ranked military officer had funded an expedition to uncover the tomb of Dragon Emperor."
Another military officer asked in cold tone, " Did he used the country's money to fund this little adventure of his?"
A civil officer continued, " Does the tomb even exists?"
Mao Zedong continued, " He used his family to money and they found the tomb. The ones who actually found the tomb was a British duo, an old black market dealer who had turned legal at least according to him named Benjamin and a young lad named Alex O'Connell. The younger one uncovered the mummy of the dragon emperor and brought it to the Museum Of Hong Kong to reveal it to the world. Now, the parents of this boy arrived at the same time in Hong Kong to return the historical item, The Eye of Shangri-La to the Museum of Hong Kong in order to show goodwill of British government to our government by returning it to the museum. But I don't think that showing goodwill was the purpose of this venture. They wanted to show their goodwill by returning an artifact which was stolen from us to a museum of their colony in our land. Do they think of us as fools?"
Another military officer said, " What is their aim? Who are the parents of this Alex O'Connell?"
The Intelligence head of China said, " Now, this name rings some bells. Ah!! I remember. "
The previous officer asked, " What do you remember?"
The intelligence head continued, " During the second world war, a mystical item was used by Germany to inflict heavy damages on the allied powers. The allied powers in order to get their own artifact turned over the whole globe. Those bastards came to our country also expecting that we would allow them to do as they please and take way our ancestoral heritage. Britain formed a department for uncovering these artifacts and according to the reports I had received a couple named the O'Connells were the main consultants for anything, they didn't understand. They also received special training and did some covert operations also. Now, we know that the artifact which Britain had was destroyed by the French though they denied any sort of involvement. Britain had been eager since then to get their hands on another mystical item. It seems that they have turned their attention once again to us."
All the officers started cursing in rage. Alexander learned quite a few new ones that he never thought of. Mao Zedong continued, " This was the conclusion that I had also reached. I have orders the dispatchment of 10 Battalions to the dig site. Now, according to further reports, Captain Wang had gone their to see the mummy with his junior officer at night. There he found the O'Connells handing over the Eye of Shangri-La to that Benjamin fellow. As Benjamin was not the one of the members of the Museum, Captain Wang opened fire as he suspected foul play. The mummy got destroyed in the fight and the O'Connells got away. Captain Wang managed to recover the eye. Captain Wang ordered his troops to set out towards the dig site and reported the matter to his superiors. Now, according to the new report given by Captain Wang, he and his fellow soldiers did an initial investigation of the dig site. One of the soldiers fell through the hole made due to poor condition of the place from where the mummy was recovered. His death led to the discovery of a secret chamber filled with terracotta soldiers statues. On the wall, there was an inscription that only those who submit to the dragon emperor can go forward. The soldiers did not believe this and moved forward. The terracotta statues came alive and killed them. Now, the inscription on the wall changed. It now said that due to the violation of the holy grounds where the dragon emperor was resting, a curse will be unrealised upon the world in one week punishing all the evil doers and the terracotta army will march to subjugate the world in the name of the Dragon Emperor, only those who submit to the Dragon Emperor would be spared. The terracotta army moved to kill the Captain but he quickly submitted and was surprising spared."
Another military officer said , " What did he say to be spared?"
Mao Zedong replied, " I submit to the Dragon Emperor."
As some of the officers repeated these words, Alexander felt the King's Might flowing into him.
Mao Zedong continued, " The 10 Battalions now will test if the terracotta army really spares those who submitted and can it be destroyed? Also, according to Captain Wang, another inscription says that the person who masters the five elements can become the next dragon emperor if there are no challengers Now, we will continue this meeting after the report of the commanding officer of the Battalions we have sent there. This can be a chance for our country to rise." He then turned to Alexander and said, " Mr. Li here, is the most knowldgeble person I could find who knows about the Dragon Emperor."
Alexander nodded and said, " Greetings!! I will try to help in any way possible. Now, according to legends, the dragon emperor was not born with the ability to manipulate the five elements, he acquired this ability later on in his life. According to ancient texts, his mystics used some king of instrument to help him in mastering the elements. As per the orders of Chairman Mao, I am going to be transported to a secure location from where I would continue to research the location of the instrument. I also think that the curse is real, the dragon emperor and his army were cursed by his enemies so it is possible that dragon emperor with his dying breadth or one of his mystics placed the same curse to be unrealised on the opening of the tomb."
After that some more plans were made and the meeting came to an end. Alexander changed into his dragon form and flew towards Europe. After reaching Europe, Alexander changed to his original form. Alexander was in his previous life was a blond haired blue eyed youth who was sickly in colour. After his rebirth, his hair changed to golden and his eyed became deep blue. When he used the powers of his bloodline then, his eyes would become purple. All the bodily imperfections were removed too. Alexander was not too pleased at this moment because in higher level words his looks would not stand out that much but in lower world like this he would stand out like a light bulb in a dark street. Alexander quickly stole some clothes from a nearby house and covered his face and proceeded to implement the next phase of his plan. Alexander conquered the offices of all the. popular newspaper and radio stations of Europe. After that he moved to America and did the same. Alexander thought, " Now, all that is left is to wait."
