"Why have you called me here?" Kiara asked Ayden as they sat on the grass in a lonely park for a while in haunting silence.

She had zero communication with him in the past several days. Neither did he try to contact her nor did she.

Quite a lot of times, she had an urge to either call or message him. Either way, her intention was only to make sure that he was okay but every time she picked up her phone to reach out to him, she had the stinging realization dawning upon her that she could not keep in touch with him especially after coming to know about his and Irene's breakup.

Deep down in her heart, she was afraid that the love that she had buried deep might just resurface with knowing that he and Irene were no longer together.

Though they had broken up, she was sure that sooner or later, they would reconcile. She had seen them for three long years to know how truly they were into each other. Too much in love to stay apart!
