Silence filled the area as both sides became warry in each other.
The demons are regenerating and getting ready the next wave of attack.
On the other hand, Kizauto is breathing to stabilize his lungs and muscles as he keeps his eyes on the demons.
He already deploys his God Sense and saw to the west a bunch of demons who were already waiting for the children, but he didn't take any action to save them. He already concluded that Kanae can take those demons beside Shinobu.
So for now, he wanted to focus on the real deal to keep their retreat for a few miles before he goes after them.
After regenerating, Kokushibo didn't waste time and charged straight at him, on his back, Akaza and Gyokko who wore a flashy scales follow the two.
Daki and Gyutaro emerged on each other and swiftly after it positioned themselves at Kizuato escape route.
For Hatengu's clones, they positioned themselves on both each side of him, cornering him completely.
Of course, Kizuato wouldn't let himself slaughtered like a pig, his move caught the demons off guards, instead of defending himself, he charged straight at Kokushibo!
Breath of the Asura! Seventh Hand: Smite!!
Meeting Kokushibo charge, his sword flicker a bolt of black lightning before it burst in embedded black lightning. He slashed it downward at Kokushibo.
The latter didn't only watch for his demise, he swings his sword too downwards.
The two swords clashed. Kizuato black lightning hit kokushibo once again without retaliation, and that's not all, it also destroyed Kokushibo crescent moon shapes!
Once more, the two exchanged three separate slashes in equal. It's not that Kokushibo is par with Kizuato strength, he just doesn't really put his best at his swing, instead, he preserving it and observing his surrounding of what's happening now if someone sneaks out to go after the children, and none of them did.
As Kizuato battle the three inside the ring crater that they created, an idea suddenly struck him.
It was the hideous creature, Hatengu!
He remembers how he fights a woman with a puppet in his previous world which always annoys him when he fights that woman.
And with those, he vividly remembers that the women can only control her puppet in a fixed range because of her strings.
And by just looking in that guy distances, he was certain even though he can't see any string in the clones!
Breath of the Asura! Ninth Hand: God's Will!!
Kizuato charged at the guy within a fracture of a second, leaving his enemy that his engaging.
Third Hand: The World Serpent Way!!
Kizuato sword dances into the demon body decapitating its head, foot, hand, and torso.
Hatengu's clone, Urami, stared at disbelief as his body has been chopped to pieces but still alive.
"Errriiggh!"
Kizuato sense of sound picked up something which doesn't come from Urumi who he slashed.
Breath of the Asura! God Eyes: True Sight!!
His eyes turned red as it pierces inside Urumi body, and there is it! Hatengu's original body, coiling like a scared bunny in this clones heart!!
Gotcha!! Breath of the Asura! Second Hand: Death Finger Thrust!
Hatengu's clone, Urumi left chest burst open into a minced paste.
On Kizuato katana, Hatengu's original body is been pierce on it, bleeding at it cried for help. It slowly fades away as it cried for help, begging as though he was a victim.
After the demon died, so its clones too, means the demons became less this time. Only Kokushibo, Akaza, Gyokko, Daki and Gyutaro remained.
It put a smile on his face and get ready for the next charge.

(Shinobu POV)
"Yuichiro, get back here you're so deep!"
I called Yuichiro who is engaging a demon with X scar on its forehead.
As we're escaping, this bunch of demons suddenly attack us, halting our escape route. It's a good thing that these demons are not so strong, so I can fight them with only Yuichiro and Tanjiro on my side.
For the girls, Kanae is guarding them to safety.
"Tanjiro, don't enter the battle just stand there, okay!"
"Hay!"
Even though Tanjiro is promising, he can't still fight head-on these demons, and for Yuichiro even though he only has one hand, he is already so strong and can defeat me in strength. A prodigy if I say!
"Charge! Don't let them breat-!!"
"I don't need to breathe to demons like you, you all weaklings!"
"I-impossible!!"
With the speed that I had, I slashed the demon with the beard before he can even finish his sentence.
I'm not the old Shinobu, I can now fight these bastards to death.
And I can achieve it without breaking a sweat!
