Capítulo 209: Playing with fire

Mary did not notice Diana's ever-changing expression because she was still reeling over how she spent the past two days. Moreover, despite the fight between the two doctors, what was more troublesome was that Dr. Warner was not as easy to get along with. Usually, the man handled most of his work by himself yet Mary used to arrange a few things for him.

Those duties were naturally shifted to Diana when she joined but the past two days when Diana was not at work, it seemed like stepping on bombs whenever Mary was around Maxim. The man seemed displeased with everything and everyone, even the hospital walls. 

As Mary thought about it, she was suddenly reminded of something, ''Diana, you… didn't you tell us that you are a business graduate?" She was still not over the astonishment she felt when she discovered Diana's educational background and the rest of the hospital staff who used to mock and badmouth Diana behind her back also were too stunned to say a word.
