Capítulo 144: You enjoyed it

Upon seeing his reaction, Diana tilted her chin down to look at herself and her jaws dropped, ''I...'' she looked back at him, ''This is all I got from Hazel's closet. The rest of the doors were locked,'' she promptly explained. 

As much as she wanted to get him into her bed, she did not want to come off as aggressive. After all, what if it scared him away?

Maxim's lips thinned. How was he not surprised to know that his mother was behind this? 

If not for Logan's confirmation and the pictures that his mother sent some time ago after landing in Seattle, he would have believed that it was her ploy to lock him together with Diana here. 

But then again, knowing her nature, she must be trying to hit two birds with one stone. On one hand, she went on a date to enjoy herself and on the other hand, she locked him with Diana in the hopes of getting them together.
