''Forget it,'' he interrupted her, much to her chagrin, ''What if I do it?" 

''Huh?" Diana looked at him, confused. 

''What if I call you a coward? Do I get kissed every time I do it?" 

The air turned dense and something inside her thrummed when he stepped closer to her. 

She had just started to shake her head but somehow, the shake turned into a small nod. 

''Coward,'' Maxim chastised but he might as well be reading her a smut book in that deep tone that tickled her body, ''Coward. Coward. Coward—'' 

His words were cut off when she pushed herself to her feet and pressed her lips against his. 

Maxim pulled back from her almost instantly. 

Her eyes were filled with confusion until Maxim wrapped an arm around her waist and hoisted her up in his arms. 

Her legs wrapped around his waist as he slammed his lips against hers. 

His grip on her waist tightened and she gasped. His tongue slid inside her mouth without restraints.
