"Are there any problems at home then?" Ling Chuxi asked. 

"Some people from Wu Feng Hall tried to attack our Ling family, but they were beaten up and sent away by Elder Su. The Ling family was saved thanks to them," the second elder said gratefully.

"I'm very grateful for your assistance, Old Su," Ling Chuxi said sincerely to Su Yizhi.

"Chuxi, there's no need for thanks between us," Su Yizhi said dismissively, an affectionate smile on his face.
