Capítulo 172: EPISODE 172: A Bargain Between Trust!
On our camp, lies Glade sitting down on a wooden log filled with white fluffy snow. He stairs down at one of his Pokeball while shining it to full glory.
"Drilbur come out now!" Glade tossed the Pokeball after shining it with wax and a piece of white cloth.
<Dril! Drilbur... Dril!>For a while the Pokemon seemed to look happy, when suddenly it saw Glade's face. Drilbur remembered the time Glade caught him on Enju town. That was the time when Drilbur got separated from his pals, the Trubbish squad.
"Let's start from the beginning shall we? I haven't properly introduced myself yet. My name is Glade, nice to meet you Drilbur." Glade smiled and introduced once more.
<Dril! Drilbur!>Drilbur gave Glade an irritated and infuriated look on his face.
"Come on Drilbur, I'm sorry for catching you on purpose."
<Drilbur!>The Pokemon frowned and glared unto Glade's soul.
"You're not really going to be friends with me aren't you?"
<Drilbur! Dril! Dril!>Drilbur mocked Glade while sticking out his tongue.
"Could you please stop giving me that look. It irks me... I want to apologize for separating you from your pals. I'll make it up to you, what do you want?"
<Drilbur! Dril!>Drilbur taunted boastfully while challenging Glade to a battle.
"Oh!? So you want to battle eigh? If I win, will you cooperate with me?"
<Dril! Drilbur!>Drilbur smiled arrogantly while nodding his head.
"Alright, let's do this! I accept your challenge Drilbur." Glade stood up with determination and excitement.
<Dril... Drilbur!>Instead of attacking Glade, Drilbur attacked and chopped down the tree.
"I thought you want to battle with me?" Glade questioned while watching Drilbur chop down the surrounding trees.
<Dril! Drilbur!>The Pokemon suddenly glowed while chopping down a tree. It grew massive, as a darker pigment surrounded its entire body. The blue spots became red, while a drill developed on top of its head.
<Ex... Excadrill!> Drilbur evolved into Excadrill. Excadrill has a dark brown body with diagonal, red splotches. Three markings are on its front, with two under each arm, and two on its back. It has short legs with small, narrow feet, each containing three toes. Its small white face is long and thin, tipped by its pink nose. Its eyes are set back, on either side of the bridge of the nose. Under them, on each side, are two thin, red stripes. A large blade roughly twice as large as its face extends from its forehead. The top of the blade contains two smaller blades, resembling fins. Its arms are thick and have three large blades instead of fingers, with two smaller blades on top of the middle ones. On its knees, halfway down its arm, and just behind where its forehead meets its face, are small red spots.
"So this means, you were about to evolve when I caught you!" Glade suddenly got intimidated by his newly evolved Pokemon.
<Excadrill! Exca!>Excadrill taunted and smiled boastfully.
"Heh, I'll prove to you that you deserve to join my team! Wartortle, I choose you!" Glade threw Wartortle's Pokeball to the sky. The Pokemon gave Excadrill a feisty and unnerving look.
"Wartortle, use Slash on Excadrill!"
*Excadrill dodged the attack! It was followed by Bulldoze. Excadrill curled its body and beamed towards Wartortle.*
"Quick Wartortle, Push Excadrill back with Headbutt!"
<War! War! Wartortle!>Excadrill's Bulldoze was more powerful than Wartortle's Headbutt, therefore launching Wartortle back. The Pokemon's back slammed against the tree.
"Oh no Wartortle!" Glade uttered worry.
*Excadrill used Metal Claw!*
"Wartortle, use Water Pulse right now!"
*Excadrill was blasted back and slammed against the tree. Due to Excadrill's weight, the tree fell and crumbled.*
"Wartortle, follow it up with Slash!"
<War! Wartortle! Wartortle!>The Pokemon attacked the foe with numerous slash attacks before the foe could stand and react.
"Great Wartortle, now use Bite on Excadrill!"
*Excadrill reacted quickly and countered bite with slash!*
"Wartortle, stay strong!" Glade encouraged while his Pokemon gasped for air.
*The ground began to shake, it was due to Excadrill's Earthquake attack.*
<Wartortle!>Wartortle was badly damaged due to Earthquake.
"Wartortle you got this! Use Water Pulse right now."
<EXCA!!!>Excadrill was unable to dodge the water pulse in time.
<Wartortle! Wartortle!>The Pokemon began to evolve! The shell on Wartortle's back grew larger and sturdier. It developed two water pipes on either side of its head, while its body became enormous and tremendous.
<Blast! Blastoise!>Wartortle evolved into Blastoise. Blastoise is a large, bipedal turtle-like Pokémon. Its body is blue and is mostly hidden by its tough, brown shell. This shell has a cream-colored underside and a white ridge encircling its arms and separating the upper and lower halves. Two powerful water cannons reside at the top of its shell over its shoulders. These cannons can be extended or withdrawn. Blastoise's head has triangular ears that are black on the inside, small brown eyes, and a cream-colored lower jaw. Its arms are thick, and it has three claws on each hand. Its feet have three claws on the front and one on the back. Poking out of the bottom of its shell is a stubby tail.
"Great work Blastoise! Wait until Kalem and Camellia hears about this." Glade beamed with joy while scanning Blastoise with his Pokedex.
[Blastoise! The shellfish Pokemon. A water type. Blastoise has water spouts that protrude from its shell. The water spouts are very accurate. They can shoot bullets of water with enough accuracy to strike empty cans from a distance of over 160 feet.
It currently knows four moves:
-Hydro Pump
-Liquidation
-Giga Impact
-Rock tomb] Glade's Pokedex explained.
"Great work, Blastoise, use Liquidation right now!"
<Blastoise! Blast!>Excadrill was sliced by a water sword developed on Blastoise's left hand.
*Excadrill used Bulldoze!*
"Quick Blastoise, use Giga Impact right now!"
*A mystic aura surrounded Blastoise's body while it smashes Excadrill from above.*
"Yes! Blastoise we did it!" Glade beamed with joy and hugged his newly evolved Pokemon. Excadrill was knocked out pretty quickly due to Blastoise's new moves.
>Exca! Exca! Excadrill!>Excadrill stood up and smiled. He went to Glade and wished to join his team once more.
"Really Excadrill!? you'll join us this time?" Glade beamed with excitement and bliss.
<Exca! Exca!>The Pokemon smiled while nodding his head.
Glade was proud of his two newly evolved Pokemons. A starter Pokemon which achieved the third stage, and a driller Pokemon which achieved the final stage, since it couldn't evolve.
With excitement and bliss, Glade rushed back to the tents where me and Camellia supposed to be.
"Kalem! Camellia, you have to see my newly evolved Pokemons!" Glade beamed with excitement while looking around the tent.
"Kalem!? Camellia!?" Glade called loudly while checking our tents.
"Where could those two be!?" Glade questioned with worry and concern. What happened to the both of us while Glade trained with his Pokemons? Where could we be during that time? The answers will be revealed soon as the journey continues...
"Kalem!Camellia! This isn't funny! I'm not trying to joke around, so please show yourself." Glade shouted again. He looked around the whole camp, but we were really not in sight.
