Hello?"
"Hobi! Finally, you answered," Seokjin hung his apron near the kitchen counter and slapped Jungkook's hand lightly when the little bunny tried to snatch a fried shrimp, "No, we will eat it together. It's still too hot for you," he told Jungkook.
"What? Hyung? You want to eat me out?"
"No, you fool," Seokjin wanted to smack Hoseok's head, "I need your help, you're still a daycare teacher right?" the older man asked, getting to the point.
"Yeah? Why? You finally gave up with the street fighter job? The job is still open for you, we all know those moms love you more than their kids."
"Thank you, and yeah I quit," he could hear the other man on the other side of the line choke when he said the fact, "but no, I have another job because that job pays me poorly."
"Wh-w-wha-what?! You really quit?! One of the best underground fighters quit his job?! WHY?!"
"Hoseok, please," Seokjin took out three bowls and gave them to Taehyung. The boy opened the rice cooker and helped him put the food on the plate neatly, "I need your help to register my sons to nursery school."
"Oh, I see, yeah I can help you register your sons to the nursery scho--"
Seokjin moved the phone away from his ear, bracing himself for the next outburst, " YOUR SONS-WHAT?! Kim Seokjin, I need an explanation right now! How dare you cheat behind my back?! "
"I'm hungry…" Jungkook pulled on his hoodie, Seokjin patted the little bunny's head, "you're still busy?" the boy asked with a small voice.
"I'll explain it tomorrow, and please, we were never dating. Send me what I need to bring in our chat, make sure to list it in order. All of the procedures, write it down clearly. I will come tomorrow to your workplace," Seokjin said to the phone.
"Wait- you're serious? You're a father now?? Are you drunk? High perhaps? But, hyung, it's not that easy okay, you can't just ask and get accepted like that- I-" Jin ignored the rampaging man in the opposite line, and ended the call.
Jungkook jumped happily like the bunny he is, Taehyung already sat on his chair waiting for Seokjin, "Okay, let's eat," the older man said before the kids started eating with happy smiles on their faces. The older hybrid was glad he was a great cook since he could easily make what the boys wanted.
[ Hyung, when I said you can't just put them to the nursery school. I was serious, you won't get accepted instantly. ]
Seokjin finished his supper first, and he let Taehyung eat the rest of the squid while Jungkook struggled with the broccoli. He waited for them on his seat, warning Jungkook that he needed to eat all of the vegetables or Seokjin would burn his chips.
[ I can't take a day off tomorrow, I need to put them in daycare no matter what ], Seokjin replied immediately.
[For starters, you need to consult with the city office] Hoseok replied under two minutes.
Seokjin was irked. It was Sunday night! There's no way he could talk to the city office, and he needed the nursery school tomorrow; being the blunt person he sent it clearly to Hoseok.
[ You're the worst dad I've ever known hyung, read it carefully, okay? There's something called an emergency nursery office .]
"Emergency nursery office?" Taehyung looked to him when he heard the words from Seokjin's mouth, being the curious boy he was, he walked closer to the older male and fell because the slippery floor (Jungkook had dropped his orange juice) and his face hit the floor.
"Holy sh- Night-" Seokjin bit his tongue before he could complete the swear.
He put down the cellphone and lifted Taehyung from the floor, the boy trying his best to hold back his tears.
His narrow eyes brimmed with unshed tears, Seokjin was trying his best to keep quiet but he ended up laughing out loud.
Taehyung pouted while Seokjin and Jungkook cleaned the floor (actually Seokjin cleaned everything because Jungkook just made it dirtier), he covered his nose with a cold towel the older hybrid gave.
Seokjin used his laptop to look up the emergency nursery school Hoseok had mentioned since said male forgot where the place is.
Taehyung insisted on staying with him and the boys ended up sleeping on his lap. Jungkook drooled on his bunny doll while Taehyung hugged his arm until it went numb.
There were hardly any of them, the daycare was far from their apartment and from Seokjin's workplace. Several places were near but the time wasn't suitable because he couldn't go home before six; one of them looked good but they accepted kids on an emergency basis just for ten days and Seokjin wasn't sure Hoseok could register Taehyung and Jungkook in such short amount of time.
This will be hard , the man thought as he lifted the boys up and put them gently on their new bed.
He was thinking about continuing his side job but then Taehyung gripped his hand unconsciously. He ended up sleeping between the boys until the alarm woke him up.
