Colton dropped me off at home and like the devil he is, quickly drove away, leaving me to deal with my brother's lecture all by myself.
Rude.
After listening to my brothers nagging for nearly an hour, I was finally able to get away from him after promising to not socialize with those people again.
I somehow managed to escape all questions about why I was alone with Colton all night, but I'm sure that devil won't escape my brother's endless nagging.
Serves him right.
I went to my bedroom and immediately sat down at my desk, opening my laptop.
If someone saw what Serenity was doing, they would be astonished at the unbelievable, fast pace her hands were typing at. Not to mention the string of codes that no normal person would be able to make out.
Her delicate fingers looked like she was playing a piano as she hacked through the security of the hotel from her party.
She found the footage she is looking for and copied it to her computer before leaving the system, covering her tracks as she did so.
She studied the people in the video a few seconds before enlarging the faces of a few of them. She cropped the picture out and inserted it in the program she designed recently.
Once the program finds the target, all the information about said person will be found and gathered into a file and emailed to herself. No matter what they try to hide, it will be uncovered. Sorry, not sorry.
Unfortunately, someone had tried to delete a small part of the recording, but recovering that was like child's play for Serenity and only required that she had to spend some extra seconds of her time to get her hands on it.
Although the party didn't quite go as planned, she had definitely learned something important that she would have to factor in before making moves on Arabella.
There is a bigger backer behind Arabella besides that petty man she wasted her last life on, and he was rather puny compared to her Colton.
'Wait?! Why am I thinking of that devil again?!'
Frustrated with herself for falling for that dahm man's charm, she took a quick shower to clear her mind.
After her shower she tied her hair up into a slick high pony tail, put on some leather skinny jeans, and matching black leather jacket and headed to the garage.
She needed to blow off some pent up steam and what better way than to ride her newly acquired baby, an all black motorcycle with pearl white outline, that she had installed a few extra perks on. She couldn't really be bothered with many details about her toys, she saw them, she liked them, she bought them and upgraded them herself.
Grabbing a white helmet from the rack, she tucked her long blonde pony into the helmet and secured it.
She hopped on the bike and spoke one word, "Activate."
Recognizing her voice, the bike booted up and responded, "Recognized owner, System activated."
With that she pressed a few buttons and sped out of the garage.
She was headed toward an underground racing arena that she recently caught news of online, but had yet to check out.
The last arena she had attended was rather annoying to go to now since people would crowd her as soon as she got there to try to uncover her identity.
She liked to be a little mysterious to keep certain flies at bay.
Once she got there, some bald, buff looking security guys that made her recall an eagle, nodded at her and clicked a button.
The wall in front of her suddenly split open and revealed a huge track with plenty of challengers lined up.
Surrounding the track there were food stalls set up on one side, along with a variety of other stalls and then the other side had stadium like benches for watching the races.
It resembled a hidden black market inside a racing arena.
Obviously the owner had some hidden intentions when creating this place.
She wouldn't be bothered though.
She rode her motorcycle all the way to the starting line, where she was questioned on whether she wanted to join and what she would like to be called.
Without putting much thought in it, she just said, "Ren," and then revved up her engine a bit as she patiently waited behind about 20 other racers.
A perky woman with legs a mile long wearing little to leave imagined, walked into the middle of the track with a flag and shouted into a mic with her best impression of a host, "RACERS, ARE YOU READY?"
In response to the tacky, underdressed woman, hollers could be heard from all over, while I was just waiting for that flag to tell us to go.
After her best attempt to get the crowd more invested and stating some laid back rules, she finally waved the flag, signaling the racers, and shouted, "GO."
thank you guys for being patient with me! Here's another chapter, though mostly just a filler chapter with an open ending! Finals are this week, so the next chapter will probably be uploaded Friday!
