Chapter 52 — New Shrek Academy, Sister's Evolution.
Waking up at exactly dawn again, Ning Chen started training in the courtyard as usual.
The Emperor Team started training very early in the morning too, but they still couldn't match with Ning Chen.
Completing his morning training, Ning Chen soon started cooking for everyone in the kitchen. It was his job to cook for them ever since he accepted Xie Lingling's request and the foods he cooked were delicious and also nutritious, helping them slightly with the training.
All of the Emperor Team soon woke up and ate their breakfast along with Ning Chen. They cleaned the dishes together since it was also a way for them to improve their teamwork.
They all then started started doing their own training regime, while Ning Chen went toward the Imperial Academy's library to study something that caught his interest.
He wanted to learn and study the art of formation because he grew curious about it after seeing the poison formation.
There was a vast hidden potential within formation and Ning Chen knew how useful it will be in the future.
He started browsing for the formation inside the library and soon managed to find them. He began studying the formation books, learning many things that slightly surprised him.
The art of formation wasn't neither too popular nor uncommon. In fact, it was used by many people and clans, but it was mostly used by them to create defensive formation and supporting formation.
The creation of formation wasn't also hard or easy. He just need to memorize symbols and characters. It also required a high amount of spiritual force and good spirit power control to create.
The reason was because you need spirit power and change it to form symbols and characters using spiritual force to create different types of formation.
There was also the needs to use many rare and expensive materials.
Ning Chen was even able to learn a formation called Energy Gathering Formation that was able to gather the surrounding spirit power and concentrate it all into one location, making it the best place to cultivate efficiently.
It was the perfect supporting formation for training....
There wasn't also any attack formation in the art of formation, but only sealing, supporting, and defensive trap formations.
It was also either large-scale formation or medium-scale formation that requires a lot of time, energy and money to create.
However, Ning Chen had lots of energy and money to squander, he shouldn't encounter any problems at this new field.
The only thing left was to study and understand how to create formation which required advance and precise calculations to make.
Fortunately, Ning Chen was good at learning new things. However, he still needed several weeks to actually understand the basics and more weeks to practice using formation practically.
When it turned afternoon, Ning Chen decided it was time to stop studying formations because he needed to visit his sister today.
It was also a good change of pace to relax his aching temple and a chance to finally use his scabbard's second ability for the first time...

Ning Chen went toward the Blue Tyrant Academy which was now called the New Shrek Academy.
"Halt! State your identity and your purpose for coming here!" A guard quickly stopped Ning Chen from entering inside the academy.
The guard stared at Ning Chen, feeling he was far too marvelous and handsome. Even if he was also a member of the male species, his heart was instantly captured.
However, as a proud guard of this academy, the man steeled his heart and mind. However, he was surprised that he was still barely able to resist Ning Chen's charm.
It was too terrifying, especially when he was straight as an arrow.
Ning Chen took out his clan's token and quickly threw it at the guard.
"I, Ning Chen, wants to enter the academy to visit my sister, Ning Rongrong."
The guard nodded and closely inspected the token, seeing it was indeed real and not an imitation.
"You can enter now," The guard said, no longer blocking Ning Chen's path.
"Thank you," Ning Chen thanked the guard before walking inside.
He walked aimlessly around the academy, not knowing where his sister was located, but he was at least able to determine this academy's condition.
The New Shrek Academy's facilities and environment was not good compared to the imperial academy, but it's atmosphere was exceptionally good.
It was a spirit master academy which accepted everyone regardless of whether they were nobles or just commoners.
As a result, he wasn't able to smell the stupidity of people who were blinded by their arrogance.
Ning Chen saw a group of female students while walking around and he quickly approached them.
"Excuse me, beautiful ladies, but do you guys know where I can find my sister, Ning Rongrong?" He asked with a charming smile and a bit of compliment.
The female student were stunned being called beautiful by such a handsome man.
With a somewhat reddish face, they all quickly replied. "Goddess Rongrong? She is currently at the training ground!" They pointed somewhere, telling the training ground was located there.
Ning Chen was glad and quickly bowed toward them.
"You have my sincere gratitude."
The girls were startled, but quickly nodded meekly. They felt happy seeing such a handsome man being grateful for them, it made them feel somehow special in their ordinary life.
Ning Chen waved his hand at them and walked toward the training grounds, seeing many students training.
He searched the entire area with his spiritual force, quickly spotting his sister training inside a private room.
Ning Chen quickly went toward her and noticed she was sweating slightly, her tight training outfit clearly defining her curves.
Ning Rongrong managed to see him and she quickly ran toward him.
"Big Bro!" She jumped toward Ning Chen's embrace while flashing her most beautiful smile.
Ning Chen hugged her body tightly as a result, not minding her being currently slightly sweaty since she still smelled very good.
Ning Rongrong looked upward while still hugging her brother, noticing his face growing more handsome.
It felt like her brother's charm was increasing unceasingly.
"You grew more handsome and charming! At this rate many women will chase you. I hate that..." Ning Rongrong said while pouting cutely.
Ning Chen chuckled lightly and patted his sister's head much to her own delight.
"Don't worry. I will not be easily bewitched by just any women because in my eyes you're the prettiest," Ning Chen said while staring deeply into her amethyst eyes.
"Brother..." Ning Rongrong's cheeks reddened slightly before she pounded her fist at his chest weakly.
"Hummp! It's just a lie!"
"No, I'm definitely not lying! I swear," Ning Chen said while laughing.
Ning Rongrong stopped hearing that and grew extremely happy. However, she was curious about why was her brother currently in the academy.
"Oh yeah, why are you here, big bro?"
"It's to visit you of course," Ning Chen smiled before remembering something. "I'm also here to say sorry for not being able to help you guys."
"Hehe, It's fine since you weren't even present at that time when we got kicked out. It's also great here, so no need to worry," Ning Rongrong reassured her brother.
Ning Chen was glad and then promised toward her, "I was at the clan at that time, but I will definitely make Xue Xing pay for kicking you guys."
Ning Rongrong nodded and knew her brother would always fulfill his own promise.
"Don't force yourself too much, Big Bro!" She warned, but then remembered something and became worried.
"Big Bro, Tang San was also kidnapped by Dugu Bo recently!"
Ning Chen was quite surprised and asked her further to learn more about what happened.
"Is everything alright for him?"
"I don't know, but I heard from my teachers that Tang San is doing fine and training with Dugu Bo, however, I can't stop worrying."

He then remembered Tang San seemingly being knowledgeable about poisons as he was able to destroy Dugu Yan's poison by just using alcohol and fire.
And Ning Chen also knew about the Dugu Family's Curse, so the kidnapping might related to those facts.
Ning Chen patted Ning Rongrong's shoulder and reassured her. "Don't worry too much. I'm sure nothing bad will happen to him."
Ning Rongrong nodded, she believed her brother's words.
"Anyway, where's your dorm room? Let's head toward there," Ning Chen asked.
"Why?" Ning Rongrong tilted her head in puzzlement.
Ning Chen pondered over on how to explain things to her.
"It's because I'm gonna do something special to you and I'm sure you will like it," Ning Chen said while smiling mysteriously.
Ning Rongrong didn't know what her brother meant with his words, but she decided to guide him toward her room.
The two of them soon entered the room, all alone inside an enclosed space and after thinking about the special thing, Ning Rongrong was starting to have some misunderstandings.
Could it be...?
She gulped down her saliva, staring nervously toward her brother's handsome face.
"Quickly lie down at your bed," Ning Chen said while wearing a serious face.
Ning Rongrong obediently lied down nervously on her bed and then saw Ning Chen touching her stomach with his palm.
Her face was immediately dyed with red as her head grew cloudy. She felt a warm and firm sensation touching her own stomach, causing her to jolt in surprised.
"This is gonna be a painful experience, but you must endure it because that will soon turn into something good," Ning Chen whispered soothingly.
Ning Rongrong could only nod her head, feeling she was extremely sensitive at this moment.
Ning Chen touched his sister's stomach with his palm, causing her to yelp in surprised.
"Breath Of New Spring Wind," Ning Chen's hairs fluttered wildly as gales danced around him.
Ning Chen suddenly felt all of his spirit power, spiritual force and vigor depleting instantly as it all soon entered Kel'al, which was hovering in front of him.
His sword was enveloped with dense wind that attracted all of the four elemental energies and the natural energy toward it.
After a few minutes of gathering energy, Kel'al transformed into starry nine-colored sword that suddenly stabbed Ning Rongrong's stomach, entering her body and martial spirit.
Ning Rongrong immediately felt a painful sensation spreading all over her body, as if something was being torn apart.
She didn't know what was going on, but she trusted her brother and endured the pain. It was bearable because she had already endured more pain than this.
Her martial spirit, the Seven Treasure Pagoda was rotating rapidly within her body, as it greedily sucked all of the energies within Kel'al that stabbed into its body.
Kel'al was glowing brightly, releasing dragons roars and humming sounds as it constantly sent energy toward the pagoda.
Ning Chen was worried about his sister, but know she needed to endure the pain. He also hoped for her evolution to succeed because there was only a fifty percent chanceof succeeding and it can only be used once on the same person.
However, their spirits were quite similar, so the evolution might succeed without any problems.
After an uncertain amount of time, Ning Rongrong's clothes were destroyed because of the overwhelming amount of berserk energy, revealing her beautiful naked body which was covered with light sweats.
Her Pagoda Spirit was floating above her body, but it was completely different compared to before. It had two new additional pagoda layers and every floor was glowing with different colours.
A part of its design also experienced some changes, having mythical dragon and beautiful nature design.
Ning Rongrong' martial spirit was no longer the Seven Treasure Pagoda, but the Nine Mysterious Treasure Pagoda.
It now evolved into a far superior version, but strangely enough, this version was different from her original counterpart's own evolution version.
This Ning Rongrong's own spirit appeared more majestic and mysteriously domineering.
Ning Chen was glad seeing the evolution succeeding, but he wasn't able to celebrate for too long. He soon lost his consciousness from exhaustion, his body falling next to Ning Rongrong's unconscious body.

Ning Rongrong woke up the next morning, feeling refreshed and filled with energy. She was then confused to see herself inside her own bedroom while completely naked.
She also felt her body being extremely light and attuned with the world greatly, making her senses spread acutely.
Ning Rongrong also noticed her snow white skin getting smoother and tender. Her pink glossy pink hair now reached her shoulder and even her body developed more maturely.
She was about to leave her bed, but then realized someone was sleeping peacefully besides her.
Looking to see who it was, Ning Rongrong was shocked to see it was her brother, who was looking very exhausted and thin.
Ning Rongrong covered her naked body with her arms in embarrassment, but was then confused to see why she was naked next to her brother.
She then remembered what happened previously, causing her to be shocked.
Her amethyst eyes, which grew darker and now looking slightly reddish, widened very largely. She summoned her spirit and saw It was vastly different from what she remembered, having evolved into something that she thought was only a legend.
Her martial spirit clearly evolved after her brother did something strange.
However, instead of questioning what it was, Ning Rongrong simply hugged her brother lovingly.
She remembered what her brother used to say in the past when they were both kids.
Ning Chen swore to find the way to solve their inability to advance past rank 79 and obtain the method to evolve their spirit to the legendary Nine Treasure Pagoda.
That's why he wanted to grow stronger and seek out to adventure
Because of his mutated spirit, he had to shoulder everyone's faith and hope with him.
And today, he had truly managed to accomplish the thing no one in their clan had managed to do.
He fulfilled his promise, just like always.
He was truly her beloved brother who can do anything.
Ning Rongrong was glad to have such a reliable and loving big brother...
