Capítulo 47: The Rescue Station

The movements of the zombies were like quiet fireflies, yet were distinct from Lin Chao's sense of hearing. There were seven zombies that had sped out of each alley and were coming after them in the dark right now.

Lin Chao spared Fan Xiangyu a glimpse and said, "Go handle them." He was honestly too lazy to lift a finger for a few normal zombies.

"All you know is to order people around," Fan Xiangyu pouted. Despite her reluctance, she was still in control of seven zombies, utilizing her brainwaves. She spread them out and used them to draw away the zombies which came from other directions.

After some time, the group managed to shake off the zombies and came to the end of the road. Lin Chao opted for a twenty-four hours convenience store as their shelter tonight.

About a dozen bare-boned human corpses left with only a tiny bit of flesh, piled up before the convenience store entrance. They were already decaying, maggots crawling over the remains.
