"Then what are you waiting for?" 

His words rang next to my ear, adding to the already perturbed state of my mind.

"You do realize that a handsome hunk who knows her from before, has made an entry into her life. We don't know what history the two of them once shared." He continued when he didn't hear a reply from me. 

"He is her ex-boyfriend." I muttered under my breath, clarifying his doubts.

"What!" It didn't require me to turn my head around to tell how shocked he was after hearing my words. 

Since Michael had left the sickroom right after we made our way across the room to give the two of them privacy, he missed on how Amara had confronted the man. More specifically, how she had let all of her frustrations out on him. 

"Yeah." I gave my head a slight nod. "She kinda lashed out on him after you left." 

"Why would she lash out on him when he's just an ex who helped you two?" He inquired.
