Capítulo 424: The Right to be Angry

"Xin Ye!"

Gu Xin Ye paused upon hearing her name. Turning around, she saw that Shen Yi Nian was running to her. Gu Xin Ye wiped the tears brimming under her eyes with her fingers as she waited for Shen Yi Nian to approach.

Shen Yi Nian stopped once she reached Gu Xin Ye's side with a huff. She has been running down the stairs again, hoping to catch up with her friend. Fortunately, she was fast enough. 

Once she had calmed down, Shen Yi Nian raised her head to look at her friend with worry. "Are you alright?" Her brow furrowed, noticing Gu Xin Ye's reddened eyes.

Shen Yi Nian could not imagine just what was Gu Xin Ye feeling right now.

Gu Xin Ye pursed her lips but did not answer Shen Yi Nian's question. "Why are you here? Are you going to help Lin Qiao and convince me to forgive her? Nian Nian, I can't do that."

"Who said that I'm here to convince you?" Shen Yi Nian heaved a sigh. "Xin Ye, I just wanted to check on you."
