Wang Yu got a call from Assistant Liu Guang, "We found him but he's dead"
Wang Yu banged his hand hard against the table. No no no. Someone was playing with him and he was losing his patience. He thought of Zhao Ming Mei. She was sly and could easily get away with something like this but he trusted the Zhao family. Zhao family would skin Zhao Ming Mei alive if she pulled stunts like this and Wang Yu was well aware of that. He had been thinking hard about who else would do something like this. The Huang family was dead now and so were the Li Zi Yun's family. He had many business enemies but he could not pinpoint one among them who would attack his family rather than business.
Wang Yu asked in a cold voice, "How long has he been dead?"
"Less than an hour"
Wang Yu was screaming in his phone now, "what were you doing so long without tracking him? You could have had him if you came earlier"
Assistant Liu Guang was used to seeing Wang Yu ruthless but he got the chills when Wang Yu was in a foul mood.
After sometime Wang Yu order him, "Search for clues, find something, anything"
After sometime, a maid came to announce that Wang Yu's mothers was waiting for him downstairs. Mrs. Wang had come to take Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun home.
As soon as Mrs. Wang saw Wang Yu, she asked him, "Where's Zi Yun?"
"She's sleeping"
Mrs. Wang went straight to the topic, "Yiran left yesterday evening"
She knew very well that both Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun would not agree to come back to Wang's family home if Wang Yiran was there. Therefore, she wanted to inform him about that.
Wang Yu raised his eyebrows. He did not expect his father to take such quick action. Wang Yu did not expect his father to do anything so he was a bit surprised.
Wang Yu said, "Father?"
"Yes it was your father. Come home with me. Both you and Zi Yun."
This, Wang Yu was totally not expecting. His parents cannot expect them to come home just because Wang Yiran was no longer at home.
Wang Yu shook his head, "No we are not coming there."
Li Zi Yun walked in at that moment. When she woke up a maid informed her that her mother in law had come. The doctor had advised bed rest but she knew that it was rude to stay in bed without greeting elders. Li Zi Yun looked a mess now, so he fixed herself as much as she could and came downstairs and found her husband speaking to his mother.
As soon as Mrs. Wang saw Li Zi Yun she said, "Why is she so pale? (Mrs. Wang turned to the maids waiting there) Get her something to eat"
Mrs. Wang's eyes moved to Li Zi Yun's belly, "She has started showing. Looks like my grandchild is one healthy baby"
Wang Yu corrected her, "Its two babies"
"Huh?"
"She is carrying twins. "
"Really? Wait until I tell your grandparents. They will be overjoyed"
Mrs. Wang turned towards the maids, "start packing their clothes, they will be leaving now"
Li Zi Yun looked at Wang Yu with her eyebrows raised; silently asking him what was going on now.
But Wang Yu stopped them, "Stop"
Wang Yu looked at his mother, "Mother you heard me. We are not coming anywhere"
"Xiaoyu, I know that this is your home and you don't want to leave. But your father insists that you should come home. He is not going to let his daughter in law be in danger"
"I can take care of it."
"You understand what is at stake here don't you? Don't be stubborn and make wrong choices that could ruin your life"
When Wang Yu did not reply, Mrs. Wang continued, "Your sister is already…"
Wang Yu replied, "I said I can take"
Mrs. Wang said, "You don't have to carry the entire burden alone. We are there for you. Wang mansion is more secure than this house and we have countless guards there"
She continued, "Even the news…"
Wang Yu said in a final tone, "Don't. I said I will take care of everything"
Mrs. Wang knew that once Wang Yu has decided something, he would not change his mind. So she left shortly after talking to both of them.
When Mrs. Wang left, Li Zi Yun asked Wang Yu, "What happened to Wang Yiran?"
"Of the entire conversation that is the only thing you're interested in?"
"I already saw the news."
"I'm sure my husband knows that only he has touched me. Why will I be bothered by such garbage news?"
Though Li Zi Yun said so, seeing such news was killing her. She did not know why they had to drag her through the mud for something unrelated to her. She had never dated anyone and even her first kiss was with Wang Yu. How could they write something so vulgar about her?
Wang Yu stroked Li Zi Yun's cheeks, "Remember our first kiss?"
"You mean when I was drugged after your ex fiancée's birthday party?"
Wang Yu placed a finger on her lips, "Don't ruin the moment"
"You stole my first kiss"
"You got it all wrong baby. You were the one who was straddling me like this (Wang Yu pulled Li Zi Yun to his lap turning her to face him with her legs on either side of him)"
"I was not. You're lying"
Li Zi Yun could feel his hard on, "You're turned on"
"With you sitting like this what else do you expect?"
Wang Yu sighed and shook his head. He can't let this go on.
Wang Yu said, "Come on. Of to bed now. Doctor advised complete bed rest and that is what you will do. I'm not letting you get out from bed"
Li Zi Yun pouted but Wang Yu did not bother. He carried her straight to their bed.
