"I'm sorry for your loss."
"I'm sorry for your loss."
Dygo sat on the front row of the chapel as people expressed their condolences to him. He could not bring himself to reply to any of them. One word out of his mouth and would send him down a spiral he could not crawl out of.
He looked up ahead, a framed photo of Vy next to her coffin laid with roses. Dygo stood up from his seat, walked up to her side, and looked in. The peaceful expression on Vy's face did not bring him any peace.
His eyes were sore, his heart ached. Nothing could appease him. Despair and emptiness was all that he could feel. He reached his hand out, reminiscing the intimate moments they shared.
But all those memories were now clouded with scenes of her death. Her final moments resurfaced in his mind, replaying like a broken record.
"I'm… I'm sorry…" he finally muttered before collapsing onto the ground.
When they are together, nothing can break their bond!
