The four-armed ape roared in anger, its golden-brown eyes locked onto Gin's figure.
Rising two of the arms on his right side, it smashed at Gin's direction. The attack clashed against surrounding air, quivering everything around it while a booming sound echoed.
Before he could comprehend what the ape is trying to do? An invisible force zoomed towards him at high speed.
The attack was similar to his fistforce but was more destructive and threatening as if it was capable of annihilating everything in its path.
At the same time, the silver-crowned falcon gave a shrill cry towards him. It was furious because he hinders it from taking revenge.
An ear-splitting sound reverberated in his eardrums.
Gin couldn't even react before he was swatted by a mighty force and knocked flying in the air. A translucent membrane clothed his entire body, shielding him from the irresistible force.
But it couldn't block the sound attack directed at his soul. Yes, the falcon's cry carried powerful soul energy, multiple times stronger than Gin.
It destroyed his 'energy wall skill' that shielded his soul and stuck the formless soul energy. Thankfully, the attack didn't carry any deadly force. It just threw his soul energy into disorder.
Before he lost his consciousness, he saw the ill-fated snow leopard burst into blood smoke. Its existence was wiped from the face of the planet, not even its bones remained.
He closed his eyes with a smile. Poor Gin, he didn't even know he's going into a coma because of a soul attack as everything happened in a blink of an eye.
The beasts didn't even bother to check whether the two annoying flies that interrupted their fight is dead or not. They minded about their business—battling each other.
Before Gin's back could hit the ground, a gentle force came out of nowhere and prevented it from happening. His body levitated in mid-air.
Then the figure of Reyna appeared next to unconscious Gin, out of thin air. Placing her hand on his chest, she examined his condition and was surprised to find he discovered his 12th hidden seal.
As for the two magical beasts fighting off the distance, they didn't even sense Reyna's existence.
"I told you! I won't mistake the aura he had on him. See, he already opened his 12th hidden seal. He's not your ordinary youth!" A sweet and soothing voice echoed and a tiny human figure materialized on Reyna's shoulder.
She looked like a fairy...but had no wings. She stood ten inches tall, her light-brown skin glistened in the sunlight and had black hair as of night sky.
Dressed in a green skirt, she looked attractive with her graceful bearing and exuded a noble temperament as of a queen.
A Fairy-type spirit!
She is Reyna's spirit companion—Queen of Divinebutterly race—Zera. A powerful existence when she was alive and she who held the title 'Purple Emperor'.
If some knowledgable expert from the Deity realm were to witness her existence, they would go crazy because fairy type spirit seal is almost mythical level existence.
And, every being bestowed with a Fairy-type spirit companion is sure to become a legendary figure.
It's shocking, a girl from the mortal would be chosen by the Fairy spirit because no fairy-type spirit would choose a weakling.
"His practice speed is even faster than our gifted Reyna," Zera added and asked, "Are you feeling jealous?"
Reyna has to admit that Gin's a genius wroth her protection but not to the point she envies him. She didn't answer Zera but asked a question of her own.
"Can't you tell me the reason why you want me to protect him?"
"I can only say his existence may play a vital role in the future. You will learn many things as your strength increases." Zera answered in her gentle and sweet voice.
"How will my strength improve if I stay in this energy-deprived world?' Reyna spoke in an annoyed tone.
Six years...it's been six years since she reached the peak of the Seal destruction stage but she couldn't find any way of transcending to the next realm.
If Gin saw her annoyed but cute appearance he'd definitely be dumbfounded as she doesn't usually exhibit such expression before others.
"Don't worry, even if we can't find a spatial stone that can carry us to the Deity realm, we will definitely chance upon a transfer array." Zera consoled.
"I hope so!" Reyna absentmindedly answered looking at the faraway horizon.
"Zera, before we leave this world I want to kill that Fiend Lord." She released a violent aura without her knowledge, recalling something in her memories.
One that was filled with murderous and destructive intent. Sensing her aura, the beasts stopped fighting and trembled in fear while looking around.
It was just for a moment but both the beasts felt as if their death is predetermined. Casting aside their grievance, they swiftly fled towards the core region of the Extreme snow region.
"Cool down, Reyna. You can't defeat him with your strength. Don't forget, he's transcendent.
With your strength defeating a transcendent won't be a problem but he's different. During our last exchange, I sensed something terrifying hiding within his soul, something that you can't handle with your current strength.
Once you become a Transcendent, we can try." Zera solemnly stated.
If she was alive, this type of problem can't even enter her servant's eyes much less her. But now, she's just an ordinary fairy-spirit without any powers.
Of course, she will recover a portion of her powers as Reyna's cultivation advances.
Reyna nodded her head in understanding. She fought with the Fiend Lord only once but that single exchange explained many things.
'I need to become Transcendent!' Reyna thought. She knew about the powers of eight ancient families well, she can fight one with current her strength.
If they decide to band together, she won't be able to resist. Her sudden rise in power made the ancient families feel vulnerable.
It won't be long before they join hands to eliminate her.
"Should I wake him up?" Reyna asked.
"No! Even though his soul is in disorder, it's also an opportunity. If he utilizes it well, he can break through to the 'white soul' stage." Zera said while Reyna agreed.
Silver-crowned Falcon's cry was a type of soul attack that stuns the victim's mind, but it won't harm the soul. They knew Gin's soul was disrupted and went into a coma.
Just a few hours is all it needs for his soul to restore itself.
Just as Reyna and Zera were conversing, Gin's consciousness entered a special place — a memory plane.
-----
Gin was looking at a baby that was giggling and trying to crawl its way towards the two figures who were encouraging him with a smile, standing feet away from the baby.
The two figures were none other than Gin's father and mother, Yewan and Riyel. And the crawling baby is him when he was a few months old.
'Father...Mother...' Gin mumbled looking at both the figures. When he tried to reach them, he couldn't and their figures vanished into a hazy blur.
In the next second, countless images flashed past him like fleeting clouds as if someone pressed a fast-forward button. He couldn't make sense of any of them.
After a few seconds, he was standing in a familiar furnished hall. It's his home.
'What's happening? Where am I?' Gin then thought of what happened before he arrived here. 'Did the beasts attack killed me?
"No! If I am, I won't be watching my own childhood memories." Gin quickly rejected it. He could feel his body but he could neither control nor sense what's happening around him.
He was conscious, his thoughts were clear but at the same time, he doesn't have any control over what's happening. It's a weird feeling.
He could tell he was wrapped in his subconsciousness and watching his own memories.
His thoughts were disrupted when a two-year-old child ran straight through his intangible form, followed by a hazy figure chasing after him with a bowl of food.
"Gin...stop running. You haven't finished your breakfast." From the voice, he knew it's his mother Riyel.
"No." Little Gin didn't stop in his tracks but ran faster.
His mother isn't the most beautiful woman he has ever seen but she's the most loving and graceful person.
Little by little, the memories become clear as the child Gin in the memory grew.
The fast-forwarding memory suddenly slowed at a certain point, a 3-year-old Gin was drawing something on his notebook seated between his father and mother.
Suddenly, there was a 'bang' sound and a tall person barged into the hall alarming the family of three. Gin saw his father and mother had a terrified expression on their faces staring at the intruder.
Gin squinted his eyes, but he couldn't discern the man's appearance and noticed the 'child him' is hiding behind Riyel and wasn't looking at the man.
He understood. The memories he was watching is all about what he has seen and heard from his childhood to now.
'Who is that man? why father and mother were afraid of him?' Gin thought.
