Capítulo 26: Started falling for him...again
After Yuan Zuan ran off, Si Xia looked at Yu Chen and asked, "Can I sit here?" that simple sentence and his voice when saying it, would have turned ice into water instantly. Yu Chen nodded her head, after all he had defended her. So Si Xia sat down on the empty chair next to Chen and Mo Kio brought a chair and sat down next to Si Xia. All five of them began eating in silence. Xi Hua broke the ice, she said looking at Si Xia and Mo Kio, "Hey, aren't you two supposed to be enemies, always at each other's throats? How come you are both sitting so peacefully."
Si Xia: "Rubbish..."
Mo Kio: "Oh yeah, the school rumours right. Well we are definitely not enemies, and neither are we friends. We kind of have a deal."
Huo Zenghai: "What deal?"
Mo Kio: "We kind of called truce when one day he approached me and asked me to tutor him in Computers."
Si Xia: "In exchange of me teaching him Business."
Yu Chen looked up. "When was this?" she asked, turning to Mo Kio.
Mo Kio: "Umm, let's see. I believe it was, hmm...."
Si Xia: "October 3rd"
Mo Kio: "Yup. He had some problem with his assignment, so he approached me."
"So it was after I refused to help him. Oh, I really feel sorry..." Yu Chen thought. Then she quickly bend her head over her lunch as she noticed Si Xia staring at her. She said, "Okay, enough talking. Let's quickly finish our lunch as the break is almost over."
So that was what they all did. Then they went off to their classes, not before Mo Kio shouted from the other end of the hall, "CHEN, SEE YOU AFTER SCHOOL." And ran away as Si Xia chased after him asking what was he talking about.
During the classes, Chen was not able to concentrate. All she could think of was how angry Xi Xi had gotten (Yup, she still used the name.) and how he had calmed down when she had stopped him. And how she had held his hand. OH MY GOD!!! She had held Si Xia's hand. Yu Chen blushed very red thinking of this, but just then she felt like someone had hit her on the head. She looked up to see her homeroom teacher asking her why was she not doing her essay. Yu Chen blushed and bent her head over her work.
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Yuan Zuan kept running whenever she saw Chen like she had seen a ghost, which was relly enjoyed by Hua and Zenghai. After the school, all three of them made their way towards the computer lab. Yu Chen had asked Xi Hua and Huo Zenghai to go home, and they had replied,
Huo Zenghai: "Go home, and miss an epic competition between two great coders of our school? NO THANKS!!"
Xi Hua: "Go home, and miss all the fun puns of Mo Kio, Nah."
So, the three reached the computer lab and went in. Inside, they were surprised to see not only Mo Kio, but Si Xia sitting waiting for them.
