Phixheim,
After the party, Alexander, Dobby, Buddha, Ragnarok, Archangel Michael and Iroh sat together around a bonfire, just talking by the lake. They were just talking about stuff. Kurama was sleeping happily in Alexander's lap. Kokuo sat beside Buddha and rested his head on Buddha's lap. There were some unicorns and Phoenixes too, just sleeping around them or listening to them.
"Boss, what happens when you die? You're experienced in that, after all. I've heard that your whole life flashes in your mind." Dobby asked Alexander.
Alexander sipped the tea and replied, "Well, from my experience, it is just depressing. I didn't see any life flashing when I was on my death bed. I... Perhaps it's all about the circumstances where you die.
"If you have made peace with yourself, then you wouldn't feel despair. If you still cling to that tiny life left, you will be in despair when dying. *Sigh* In a way, those who die a sudden death are lucky."
Iroh nodded and added, "That is why one should try to have a life of no regrets as regrets are what leads to dissatisfaction in your last days."
Buddha agreed, "Yes, but the secret to everything lies in here, in the mind. It can be the source of both purity and evil. It is like an untamed horse. Once you befriend it and understand it, it can be your best companion and if you don't then all you will get is a horse kick."
The combined wisdom of the people sitting in this small group was enough to start a cult for. All of them had different principles but in the end, their thoughts had one meaning, that was 'Internal Peace,'
Alexander then looked at Michael, "Brother, did you get any words from heaven?"
He nodded, "I did, they are just the usual stuff. Low-level skirmishes happening in places. But, the biggest news I got is that Saitama has been going hard on Zulrak's army. He caught one of the High Demons of Zulrak's army and got all their war location plans out. Now, he's intercepting them and destroying them. He has already killed about a trillion of low-level soldiers of Zulrak."
Ragnarok chuckled, "Damn, attaboy. But I worry that Zulrak might come after him himself."
"Yeah, that's true. I will send words to him. He even missed today's party. Okay then, I will go and read the book that Buddha gave me. Maybe it can help me get stronger. *Cough* Meditation has helped me a lot these days." Alexander digressed.
"Any plans for dealing with Zulrak?" Michael asked.
Alexander laid back on his chair and just looked at the sky. *Sigh* "Hah... Well, it's pretty simple. Cross my heart and hope not to die, at least not before I put that demon back in his place."
"But you are unkillable, aren't you?" Dobby asked.
"I don't know, Dobby... I don't know anymore. I have this feeling that when I fight him, the stakes will be very high." Alexander replied with confusion apparent in his voice.
Alexander then got up to stretch up and leave, "Well, boys. I'll go and meditate now. Let's see what my believers are asking me."
"What do they even pray for?" Iroh inquired. He was the god of tea so he didn't deal with the wish hearing job.
"Not much. The usual asking for forgiveness for their sins. People think religion is a business where you pay for god's forgiveness. Rather than redeeming with action, they'd spend money because it's easier. They don't understand that in the end, money is also a devil. It makes you greedy and keeps your mind from elevating." Alexander said and started walking away.
Iroh also got up to leave, "That's it for me. I'm gonna go out and roam around. I need some fresh air of a new world."
...
Alexander went to a silent place and sat down cross-legged. He opened the book Buddha gave him. It was in Sanskrit but he didn't have much trouble reading it. Because in his past life, he had read all kinds of old scriptures from India in search of a cure for cancer. He had read many epics and stories from the past that had the mention of magical herbs. He tried to find these magical herbs but in the end, they were nowhere to be found.
~Huh, I was really a mad man back then.~ he muttered to himself and focused on reading.
Initially, there was just basic of how to meditate in the starting pages. Alexander was already beyond this point. Soon, he came upon a very important part. It said, 'Become one with the surroundings.' Alexander decided to do just that.
He closed the book and shut his eyes to start meditating. It took him a few seconds to get to the zone. After a while, his mind became empty. He soon started hearing voices of all the people praying to him.
But soon, Alexander found something new. He found out that he was not just hearing the wishes made right now. But even the ones in the past and future. He heard the wishes of some historical personalities and also the wish of 150th president of the United States.
"God, wish me luck. I am about to make a move that might just destroy this world. But if we win, America will be the king of the world." 150th president wished.
Alexander ignored this guy. Even gave him some bad luck. This ended up with him getting assassinated by CIA instead of successfully launching a nuke.
After that, Alexander heard the voice of Abraham Lincoln, "God, may you bless me and this country of free people that I am able to pass the law for Emancipation Proclamation that declares forever free those slaves within the Confederacy. The Civil War has gone on for far too long. Too much blood has been shed"
"Go ahead," Alexander blessed him. Abraham felt something touch his shoulder.
"Thank you," Abraham didn't know what it was but he just accepted it as a blessing.
There were some historical kings too.
This was surely new for Alexander. But this was not his main target. Alexander wanted to do what the book told him to.
So, he focused even more. He wanted to be present everywhere at the same time. He wanted to be able to see things too while hearing them. He sat there for a long time.
Soon, he started hearing some voices. It was the voice of Chomei, Olivia, Thea and Natasha.
"Grandma, I will help you cook today." Chomei enthusiastically said.
Olivia patted his head, "Sure, come here."
"Me too, Grandma." Thea also came forward.
Olivia put the two on the platform where she was making dough for some pizzas.
"Okay, add some water to it," Olivia instructed.
Chomei picked up the jug and proceeded to pour water. But Thea tried to grab the jug too. "I will help too."
However, the jug was too heavy for her and she lost balance, though she held on to Chomei's new sweater that Olivia had made for him. So, both of them fell into the dough and got covered in white flour.
Oliva facepalmed herself.
"You two, clumsy beyond hope." She and Natasha picked them up.
"HAHAHA..." suddenly a loud voice came.
Olivia was alerted. "Who's there? ALEX?"
Even Alexander now realised that he was able to see everything. "Hmm? Yeah, it's me. I can see you now. I guess this is what God feels like."
"That's creepy," Olivia said.
"G-CHAN, where are you?" Chomei asked with excitement.
"Outside in the garden," Alexander replied.
"Woah, are you using that phone thing?" He asked while still being covered in dough.
"No, but it's even better than that. Why don't you two take a bath? Go." Alexander then checked another place in the castle.
"Ah, stop sharpening your scissors, Douglas. You will make them disappear with that grinding stone. Use it to practice now." Alexander's voice scared Douglas.
"I will." He instinctively replied. But then he remembered that he was in his own room. He turned around to look at Alexander but there was no one.
~Hmm, strange. Am I hearing things?~ Douglas wondered.
